LA PETITE MUSIQUE DES CLASSIQUES DE L'HORREUR (1960-1965) < http://popupsounds.over-blog.com/2018/02/la-petite-musique-des-classiques-de-l-horreur-1960-1965.html

Man, It's so trippy hearing the original after having listened to the Fant么mas version for so many years.

Fantomas sucks
@malloid
Love this song and love this film! For a low budget exploitation film it sure punches above its weight. Pity it sat on a shelf unreleased for three decades, but glad it eventually made its way out and is now getting the plaudits it deserves.
@RockandrollNegro
It sat unreleased for three years, not three decades. I saw it Christmas Day, 1967, when it was titled CANNIBAL ORGY.
It was already considered a cult classic by the mid-seventies and has been widely available on home video since 1981, so it's been receiving 'plaudits' [just say 'acclaim"; 'plaudits' is only used by pretentious armchair critics to impress other pretentious armchair critics in their circle of jerkers] for at least 45 years. You can refer to any number of genre magazines from the late sixties to mid nineties and find articles praising the film.
Stop trying to appear more knowledgeable than you are. Millennials continually find movies that have had extensive fanbases for decades and think they're the first to appreciate it, because apparently nothing existed before Twitter and Reddit.

If Spider Baby were re-recorded, I would love to hear Ice-T perform on it.
@jeanesingsjazz
Ronald Stein did a lot with a simple theme.
@lhasa7
Has kind of a Faust vibe.
