I feel like you wrote this song for my daughter. In a few days it's 15yrs that she is gone. She made it to 14. She was born in N.Y.C..It was a only day that yr we had snow when she was born. She was beautiful. But she had a brain tumor it became cancer after her brain surgeon refused to take it out. She had 27 shunt revisions. We brought her home to give her peace. She was a strong little girl who hung in for a month and finally she went to her final home. She loved your song "your beautiful". She loved to sing and and had a voice! But the words in this song fit her life as short as it was. Eternal memory!

@@alitabesh5362 I'm sitting here crying for her. Yesterday was 15 years that she got her wings and went home. Her trouble was a tumor that returned. And just like in the song there's no one here to listen too. The surgeon threw her scan across his desk and said he's not going to remove the tumor. So she had 27 revisions of her shunt by him. The hospital administration came to ask me after her 3rd revision when I was going to stop doing them!? Wow really? She told her father that it's to much for a little girl! By that time she was blind and her tumor was cancer. All her life trouble was seizures and tumors were her only friends. The last time she had surgery there were fireworks outside her window for New Year's. She couldn't see. But she is at peace now and the drs they will have to answer to God for her life! Thank you for your kindness! That is my daughters story told in a song.

This song truly captures those last moments with my daughter. She passed on March 11, 2021 at the age of 22. My sweet girl had a cardiac arrest and was on life support for a few days. At the end, so she could donate her organs as she had wished, our family gathered around her as we felt her heart beating for the last time. We used this song in her tribute. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. My sister does competition dance and her and her friend do a duet to this dance. It’s about two sisters. The older sister is dying and the younger sister is trying to spend as much time with her as possible. It makes me cry because it reminds me of all the hard times my sister and I have gone through during our childhood. Our mom is an alcoholic and we have had to provide for ourselves most of our lives. We always fou d a way to carry each other. This song truly is in my heart and it represents our trials growing up. Thank you, so much.❤️

In that cold day, my dearest friend has gone after 3 years fighting with stomach cancer. At his very last moment, he smiled, gentle but as brilliant as in my memory of the old days when we were in university. I didn’t cry then but when i came back to my house and this song randomly popped out of nowhere on Youtube. And when James Blunt sang “as strong as you were, gentle you go...” I couldn’t hold back the tears. Feel like my heart torn into pieces.
