The Canada stuff is becasue of Neil playing in "How I Met Your Mother" as Barney, who's engaged with a Canadian woman. The "I heard your last Doctor was horrible" was because of Neil as Dr. Horrible in "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog" (where Nathan played his enemy), Nathan is also a main character in Castle. Those are the references I got, at least.
