She's Got Style

Oh my God I'd pray for another
Chance to drive down back highways
Til I stumble upon your beautiful face
Your presence isn't what kills me
It's that artistic gleam
That's taking over my scenery
You might think I'm incapable
Of loving a soul like yours
You might think I'm a fool
For you
'Cause girl you got style
And that's what I love about you
The way that you sit back (oh, how you sit back)
And watch this grow
You got dreams
And therefore I believe in you
All the small town people with their big remarks
They ain't got jack to say about my movie star
She's got style
Badada dadadadadadada dadada hoooooo ohhh
She's got style
Badada dadadadadadada dadada hoooooo ohhh
If it's not the fact that I'm a wee bit younger
Or the truth that I'm so naive
My heart keeps leaping back to you
Like a dog tied to a tree
I know it sounds crazy
It's ridiculous to me
But without you by my side girl
You might think I'm incapable
Of loving a soul like yours
You might think I'm a fool
For you
'Cause girl you got style
And that's what I love about you
The way that you sit back (oh, how you sit back)
And watch this grow
You got dreams
And therefore I believe in you
All the small town people with their big remarks
They ain't got jack to say about my movie star she's got style
In "She's Got Style" by nevershoutnever, the singer is expressing his admiration for a woman who stands out from the crowd. He sings about how he would pray for another chance to see her, and how her artistic and unique personality catches his attention. He acknowledges that people may think he's not capable of loving someone like her or that he's foolish for feeling this way, but he doesn't care what others think. He loves the way she sits back and watches things grow, and he believes in her dreams. The song seems to express a feeling of longing and admiration for someone who is different and special in the eyes of the singer.
The lyrics suggest a sort of innocence and vulnerability in the singer's emotions, as he admits to being young and naive. The line "my heart keeps leaping back to you like a dog tied to a tree" is a poignant metaphor for the way he can't help but feel drawn to this woman, despite any obstacles that may be in their way. Overall, the song celebrates individuality and the beauty of standing out from the crowd.

This era was it's own beast. Late night, Myspace, small bands, REALLY talented kids. Sad that christopher drew didn't keep up with his initial star power.
As much as I wish I grew a 20 something in 85 for the thrash scene, im very glad I was young when I was to experience this wave of kids with dreams and an internet connection

"Kids with dreams and an internet connection" could summarize our generation, I think. It makes me feel extremely emotional.

JussaPeak idk why he changed. There’s interviews where he talks about not wanting to be referred to as a MySpace band and I just don’t get why that was a bad thing lol
