The band's sound is aimed primarily at an eclectic fusion of post-rock, electronica, and jazz.

Stuff I use:
Dream shield (+ the dream crest thingie) this is a surprisingly good defense and offensive bost, for 3-4 notches, which is fun to learn how to use by synching with it's movement. only downside is that it can get diatracting.
Silksong + grubbsong: Look, I was using grubbsong before I found silk song, but as soon as I realized the power of the combo I was completely in love. Little apidera who will deal modest damage to enemies while collecting soul. They even collect soul from enemies and bosses that don't give you soul through nail strikes. And now you have an excuae to use sprintmaster ao you can move at a decent pace. Love these guys.
Sharp shadow + dashmaster: This combo has carried me through several bosses. Dealing damage when dosging all but doublea your attack rate, hence your damage, but pushing that up to 150% per dash, and the fact that you can now quickly get in range after each dosge, this combo is amazing.
Fast focus + shape of unn: Want to heal in a boss fight, but keep getting interrupted? try fast focus, if that doesn't work, add shape of unn, and while 5 notches is a lot, the ability to heal and dodge simoultaniously lets you endure anything. The spees added to shape of unn turns if from an ok charm to an epic one.
Dashmaster + sprintmaster: You won't long for stag stations everywhere because you move so fast it's juat fun. You'll barely use the cryatal heart when you have this, except to spare yourself spamming the dash button.
LARGER COMBOS
fragile/unbreakable strength + quick slash + stalwart shell. Keep dying to a boss? Just make it die faster than you.
Grubberfly's elgy + grubbsong + weaversong: keep at max hp by keeping your distance, and should you take a hit you get tons of soul to heal on topp of your little spiders collecting all the time. Works well with quick focus, dream shield, or hive blood if you like.

Tips for fighting Nightmare King Grimm:
Forget about any nail / spell buff. Focus more on healing. Heal when NKG does his flame pillar and fire bats attack. Use these charms:
Quick focus - faster heal for 1 mask
Deep focus - longer heal for 2 masks
Shape of Unn - allow you to move and heal during fire bats attack
Here's how the combo balances out:
Quick focus and shape of unn will make you move and heal too fast, you might run into NKG or stand up before the fire bats attack ends. Equipping deep focus into the mix will return movement and heal speed to normal when healing. Since deep (slow, 2 masks) and quick (fast, 1 mask) is equipped, it'll heal at normal speed for 2 masks. The time is just enough to dodge fire bats and heal 1 time after the fourth fire pillar.
When fighting NKG, he's not inviting us to fight. He wants us to dance. So take it slow, one hit at a time, dodge. And when he finishes his fourth fire pillar or when he's about to launch the fire bats attack, HEAL. I'm pretty bad at dodging NKG's attacks but this build allows me to have a winning chance by surviving in an endurance battle.
