Mark in the German music scene. nulldB’s style ranges between a fine mix of Nu Rock, Nu Metal and new German hard rock, without setting a standard style of music as there are far too many influences to determine a set style.
Titles „Bulletproofed“ in 2002, the Band played a variety of shows in schools and youth centers, at that time singing in English. The steps that led to their current style was formatted by the bands decision to sing in German. German lyrics, paired with intelligence and powerful guitar riffs formed the Bands trademark. As opposed to singing about the “brave new world”, the band’s lyrical preference have steered them to a darker, more profound side of music topped off with a shot of irony.
Paying their dues in the followings years, nulldB scrubbed their way through various clubs in and around Würzburg, as well as a television debut on the „Newcomeer – TV“ (HR3/WDR3), which expanded the bands over regional popularity. The demand for more shows from nulldB consistently grew, which eventually landed them a show on the national “Taubertal Festival” in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
On December 15, 2008 the band won the German Rock and Pop Prize 2008 in Friedrichshafen, in the category “Best Hard and Heavy Act” with their song “Im Auge Des Sturms”. As the demand to hear more from the band grew, the time had come to produce their Debut CD with Producer Frank Zumbroich. Zumbroich polished the “diamond in the rough”, and “Im Auge Des Sturms” debuted in the summer of 2009. The energy, excitement and the experience of uncountable live shows became the “Sound” of non-traditional castings Bands and artists.
At their CD Release Party at the Posthallen Würzburg in August 2009, nulldB presented a filled concert hall with their raw energy and power, setting the stage for a strong musical future.
Currently, a club tour is being planned to infest the rest of the nation with the nulldB virus. nulldB will be playing several festivals in 2010, furthering their infestation to feed the masses with their powerful music.

Lately things just don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky
Purple haze all around
Don't know if I'm comin' up or down
Am I happy or in misery?
Help me, oh come on help me
Purple haze all in my eyes
Don't know if it's day or night
You've got me blowin, blowin my mind
Is it tomorrow or just the end of time?
Help me, oh come on please help me!
The lyrics of "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix's are open to interpretation, but the song is generally believed to be about the psychedelic experience. The opening line "Purple haze all in my brain" suggests the singer is high on some hallucinogenic drug, and the following lines suggest he is experiencing a disorienting and confusing trip. He doesn't know if he's coming up or down and he's acting funny, but he can't explain why. The singer is unsure if he's feeling happy or miserable, but he knows that he is under a spell of some kind.
The chorus of the song is a plea for help, and it's possible that the singer is asking for someone to help him come down from the trip. The line "Scuse me while I kiss the sky" has been interpreted as a reference to either being so high that one feels like they can reach the sky, or as a metaphor for death. The repetition of the chorus suggests that the singer is becoming more and more desperate for help as the song progresses. The final lines of the song "Is it tomorrow or just the end of time?" suggests that the singer is so lost in his experience that he doesn't know what's real anymore.
Overall, "Purple Haze" is a powerful and enigmatic song that captures the experience of a psychedelic trip. It's an impressive musical achievement, showcasing Jimi Hendrix's incredible guitar skills and songwriting abilities.
