Hi Lliana, this video is showing how you can activate and deactivate the Num Lock function on a keyboard like PERIBOARD-407 here in the video. The keys on the keyboard has alternate function. The Num Lock key enables and disables the numeric pad. When Num Lock is enabled, you can use the numbers on the keypad. When Num Lock is disabled, pressing those keys activates those key's alternate function. For instance, the arrow keys on the keypad may only be used if Num Lock is disabled.

@dyllanaquino3600 If you have a compact keyboard like in this video, it is likely that the NumLock feature is on. Some keyboards are designed in such a way that you type letters at one point, then numbers at another. This is because the compact-size keyboard, usually does not have the numeric side keys on the right side of the keyboard. So, some keyboard are design with keys that can also type numbers when NumLock is enabled. If you have any more questions, let us know!

My Cat walked on my Keyboard and now if i click "e" there is coming an 3 but if i click T there is coming an 5 and one some letters its still normal, I can't fix it... i watched 17 tutorials now and its not working, all the combinations or Tricks won't work..Not even in the settings- idk what to do i can't use my Laptop like that. It sounds like the numlock function is enabled. Can you check on your keyboard where the Fn Lock key is? Depending on the keyboard, you might be able to turn it on or off by pressing Fn + Fn Lock at the same time on most keyboard.

Hey there, if you don't have alternate commands feature on your keyboard and the Fn Number key function the keys are typing numbers randomly without you pressing the key, then it could be that the key switch underneath the key cap is stuck. You can check it out by removing the key and see. In this video we are showing how to activate or deactivate the alternate commands.

Hi StarDrifter, that's okay. Not all keyboards has the Fn feature :) Typically, in a compact or mini layout keyboard which are often found on laptops and compact keyboards due to their size restrictions.
