Oh’s been rhyming since he was 12 years-old. Though, back then, he was more like an understudy to his older and more experienced cousin M Diesel of M.D.D (Mighty Dark Dwellaz) – freestyling daily with his brother Lone Rydayh, slowly perfecting his craft.
Fast-forwarding to around ’98 – OhD linked up with several other emcees that shared that fire in his belly. The music took over and became a way of life, and the team formed Homicide 187 – better known as H-Cide. They transformed a basement into a recording studio and produced many mixed tapes, including H-Cide, Volume 1 and H’s Up Volume 1. The H-Cide team sparked buzz throughout the local and tri-state area. Multifaceted, and understanding the game, H-Cide became known for their street savvy, conscious lyrics as well as club bangers.
Performing everywhere from colleges to clubs, Oh’s hunger and consistency has built an audience of listeners desperate for sincere music. With experience, comes wisdom and OhD’s music has progressed with his person. Oh’s music challenges perspective and turns the expected on its head. He’s created his own lane with his unforgiving demeanor and real stories.
With each mixed tape he’s released, he’s astounded with a new personal best. His first solo endeavor, OhDing: Tha Ohfical Bootleg, was hard then and still is. Also, check out “Reality Check” – the hot mix tap collaboration of OhD and Young BU. His latest solo mixtape release, Man Of Many MUGZ, has been noted as a “classic” from various listeners. OhD and his brother Lone Rydah are working on the start up of their own entertainment label “D$O$N” – Dollaz or Nothin’. The label is looking for artists of all types with hot, interesting music, literature, poetry, clothing, etc.
This is just the beginning. Keep your eyes and ears open – OhD is a necessary voice.

Priorities
ohd Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I will say to him, you do that!
And then forget the money.
Ahh... because,
If you say that getting the money is the most important thing,
you will spend your life completely waisting your time.
You will be doing things you don't like doing,
in order to go on living, that is to go on doing the things you don't like doing,
It's better to have a short life,
that is full of what you love doing,
than a long life spend in a miserable way"
The lyrics of Priorities by ohd convey a profound message about the importance of pursuing what one loves as opposed to prioritizing money above everything else. The theme of the song emphasizes the need to focus on personal gratification rather than blindly running after wealth. The lyrics suggest that if an individual discovers what they truly want to do, it is important to pursue it without hesitation, even if it may not be the most lucrative option out there.
The song suggests that prioritizing money over passion will only lead to a life filled with monotony and misery. It encourages people to take risks and follow their dreams even if it requires letting go of financial or social security. The song further emphasizes the importance of living a life that is fulfilling, despite how brief it may be, and remaining confident in oneself instead of getting bogged down by societal norms and expectations.
Overall, the song Priorities encourages people to prioritize their passions, live life on their own terms, and not let money be the sole driving factor in their decision-making process.

When we finally got down to something that the individual say really he wants to do,
When we truly understand what someone wants to do with their life,
I will say to him, you do that!
I will encourage them to pursue that dream wholeheartedly,
And then forget the money.
And not worry about the financial gain,
Ahh... because,
Because,
If you say that getting the money is the most important thing,
If you believe that money is the most important thing,
you will spend your life completely waisting your time.
You will waste your life doing things solely for financial gain,
You will be doing things you don't like doing,
You will be doing things that you don't enjoy,
in order to go on living, that is to go on doing the things you don't like doing,
Just to continue surviving and doing what you don't enjoy,
Which is stupid!
It's foolish!
It's better to have a short life,
It's better to have a fulfilled and meaningful short life,
that is full of what you love doing,
Filled with the things that you're passionate about,
than a long life spend in a miserable way
Rather than living a long, unhappy life.
