Something I liked about Johnny and Nooshy in the movie is they didn’t couple them up.

This might sound overly joyful since this is a cartoon for kids, but it was nice to see they had 2 opposite gender characters not coupled up.

I think it’s a good representation that not every opposite gender friends have to be ‘lovers’, they can just be friends. I love that stuff man!

yeah theres different reasons for it and each character saw a different side of it, the monkey (idc if hes not monkey he doesnt deserve a proper name) doing it on purpose to try to prove a point for his own ego reasons "if i cant teach you no one can cuz im the best", or with rosita her side of things was unintentional as she was replaced because she didnt seem qualified the role due to her fear of heights

What I love in this is that when he followed Klaus, Johnny had to dance more with his legs. However his legs are small and can't exactly show much movement or flow. After Nooshy, he starts using his arms more, which are much larger and he can express himself easier. Nice little detail.

I remember watching Sing 1 and I instantly fell in love with his singing voice and his voice in general honestly. He was a perfectly trained dancer, he was initially much better than Johnny, even seemed to be the mean teacher's favourite (or at least more favourite than Johnny). And such characters are always written as total assholes, who are eventually defeated and humiliated by the protagonist. Yet here he seems so sweet but also disciplined and really professional. My husband & I watched Sing 1 with my grandkids on Christmas day, & then the day after Christmas we all went to see Sing 2 together. Since then my husband & I have been back to the theater a couple of times to watch Sing 2 again. We also picked up Sing 1 at Walmart & have watched it several times. Scenes with Johnny singing are always to good .This was his best performance by far. This movie was very fun to watch. I loved this movie hope they do a sing 3 because both sing 1 and 2 were great and this was my favorite scene in the whole movie for sure. And I also loved how porsha cheered on Johnny while klaus tried to bring him down she is such a good friend

That can depend on the company. If they were to make a 3rd, they need Sing 2 to become popular enough, and if they green light Sing becoming a series, and that they get permission to use more songs, then it’s possible. Plus they need to do an idea on the plot.

What I found fascinating and realized after is they are using sticks called “Monkey Staffs” to fight, which is part of a real martial arts called Monkey Kung Fu. In fact, they basically do that style of Kung fu throughout the dance/fight. And the move they do when they’re both leaning on the stick is called “Monkey Up the Tree”.

Seriously, the climax of this sequel is exactly why I found it better than the first. Yes, there were times where the story felt generic and some side plots went absolutely nowhere but the soundtrack here is consistently strong and at the very least it had a little more interesting character development especially with this scene with Johnny.

When I saw the commercial for Sing 2 I thought it was going to be corny. Sing 2 was great and my whole family loved the movie. I didn't think they were going to be able to out do the first movie but I was wrong. My favorite character was the mob boss Mr. Crystal. The audition part had me dying laughing. Looking forward for a Sing 3.

Not sure if I quite agree that it's the best song from an audio perspective, I'm hard pressed between this and Could Have Been Me (can't get either one out of my head right now), but when paired with the animation this one does edge it out. I do agree the story and visuals were also overall better than the first, the animation and detail of Calloway for instance was simply amazing.

There was genuinely alot of courage and confidence in this part of the film because I'm glad that Johnny stood up to his old dance teacher which said "Johnny you will never be great!" It's such a great atmosphere Aswell!.

Okay so I actually haven't seen this movie (I did enjoy the first pretty well), but my friend told me that Johnny sang A Sky Full of Stars, and I came to watch this scene. While I don't understand the background development, I can tell they chose this song (Similarly to I'm Still Standing in the last one) for him because it has a strong message, and I love it. Hopefully I can watch it soon
