pornophonique consists of Kai Richter (guitar, vocals & c64) and Felix Heuser (gameboy), who are both german. Together, they're producing some kind of micromusic (electronic). While Kai is singing and playing the guitar, Felix Heuser "plays" Little Sound DJ on his Gameboy. Sometimes, Kai is playing the C64 (the game Music Machine), which is used as a live keyboard. They describe themselves as "gameboy meets lagerfeuer" (or in english: gameboy meets campfire).
on their website you can download their whole album called "8-bit lagerfeuer" for free or buy the cd in black vinyl-optics within a tintop with viewing window. Including variant-covers for each song, made by famous german comicartists.

Space Invaders

At the people all around me
They seem to be
At least to me
Like the undead walk on earth
And ev'ry step that I take
And ev'ry movement that I make,
I feel that I'm the stranger
In a strange, strange land
Space invaders
I will never gonna shoot you
I never gonna never gonna shoot you
Come along
Space invaders
I will never gonna shoot you
I never gonna never gonna shoot you
Come along
Where do I belong?
Can you take me home?
So all you people take a look at me
I‘m the alien from outer space
See it in my face
Your solar system just ain't mine
And ev'rywhere you people go,
Devastation and destruction
It ain't my game
Completely insane
And so your game is over now
Space invaders
I will never gonna shoot you
I never gonna never gonna shoot you
Come along
Space invaders
I will never gonna shoot you
I never gonna never gonna shoot you
Come along
Where do I belong?
Can you take me home?
The lyrics of “Space Invaders” by pornophonique convey a sense of alienation and displacement through the use of the Space Invaders game as a metaphor. The song’s protagonist, an alien, laments about the people on earth walking around like the undead. This imagery highlights the disconnect and isolation felt by someone who is different or a foreigner in a new land. The lyrics further suggest that the singer is constantly in danger and aware of the hostile environment around him.
The repetition of “Space Invaders” throughout the song creates a kind of mantra of self-assurance, almost like a protection from the feelings of fear and vulnerability. The refrain, “I will never gonna shoot you, I never gonna never gonna shoot you, come along” is a plea for unity and acceptance, a sort of invitation to the others to join the singer and break down the walls of isolation. The song concludes with the question, “Where do I belong? Can you take me home?” which shows the singer’s ultimate desire to find a place where he belongs and is accepted.

Ev'ry time I take a look
Whenever I observe the people surrounding me
At the people all around me
At the individuals near me
They seem to be
They appear to be
At least to me
At least from my perspective
Like the undead walk on earth
Similar to zombies inhabiting the world
And ev'ry step that I take
With every stride I make
And ev'ry movement that I make,
Also with every action I do
I feel that I'm in danger
I sense that I'm in peril
I feel that I'm the stranger
I feel like the odd one out
In a strange, strange land
In an abnormal, unfamiliar place
Space invaders
Aliens from space
I will never gonna shoot you
I won't ever harm you with weapons
I never gonna never gonna shoot you
I repeatedly won't shoot you
Come along
Join me
Where do I belong?
What is my rightful place?
Can you take me home?
Will you guide me to where I fit in?
So all you people take a look at me
Therefore, all of you individuals observe me
I‘m the alien from outer space
I am the extraterrestrial visitor
See it in my face
View it in my countenance
Your solar system just ain't mine
Your star system does not belong to me
And ev'rywhere you people go,
Wherever you people venture,
Devastation and destruction
Ruin and wreckage
It ain't my game
It's not my forte
Completely insane
Utterly mad
And so your game is over now
Thus, your match is concluded
