Amy and Ben are both from central Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg. Nicole is originally from Durban, South Africa. The members met in Nashville- Tennessee, March 2005, at a sushi restaurant called Rusan's, which later became the title of a track on their debut album- "The Story Cannot End". [2006].
"Ooh, it's so shiny and colourful. American indie rock/electro kids Redflecks toured the country from March to April. And their sound reminds me alot of Canadian dance-punks "You say party! We say die!". Throw in some karen o, some strokes, some blondie, vocalist amy's own sultry flair, some deep bass lines, a bag full of smarties, and you've got an idea. Shiny happy people!"

"...Fatal Devotion" sounds like a female-fronted Interpol, but replaces that band's flatlined delivery with Amy's elastic Karen-O vocals and a surprisingly limber arrangement. Electronic elements — robotic handclaps and overdriven drum machines — are kept to a kitsch-less minimum, and the band's slow-burning melodies twist and turn in spooky and strangely catchy ways."

“Hey Da Da Da Da” is a real party track with Blondie-esque vocals and swirling, fuzzy guitars over dance-ready beats.”

Explain the word complete. Is this something I'll be.
Get me out of reverse. The separation hurts.
If I had any control. I would rewind the void.

I will remember you. I will remember you
In "Rewind," redflecks addresses issues of survival, meaning, completion, and separation. The song starts with a demand for definitions of the words "survive" and "complete," asking if the latter is something they will ever achieve. They then express a desire to go back and undo past mistakes by rewinding the "void," or the emptiness left behind by their bad decisions. But despite this wish for control over their past, they feel stuck in a cycle of repetitive behavior that leaves them feeling tired and not alright. The pain of separation is also evident in the lyrics, as they long to be taken out of reverse.
Overall, the song portrays a deep sense of confusion and introspection. The singer is grappling with questions of identity, purpose, and agency, seeking meaning in their experiences and hoping for a chance to start over. The repetition of the line "I will remember you" suggests a longing for connection and a desire to hold onto the people and experiences that have shaped them.
