1. Formed in 2005, Star from Chicago's underground dreamy Noisepop, and Blissrock scene is a project of Scott Cortez (lovesliescrushing, and astrobrite), in collaboration with singer songwriter Shannon Roberts (guitar, Vocals), and Theodore Beck (percussion, guitar). After releasing a demo in 2005, STAR released their debut album Devastator on February 17th 2007.
2. Star released only one album in 1999 called Triune on Heat Records, Star's music is a mix of Electronic club dance music, R&B, Soul, and late 90's Funk. The members of Star are Francisco Del (composer), Star(main performer), David Cabrera (guitar), Sly Kat (rap), Jennifer Carbonell (background vocals), Dennis Dellinger (background vocals), Tobor (background vocals), Dirty Dre (background vocals), James "Drumstick" Davis (percussion), DJ Cool One (scratching), and Smart (rap).

The "conversation" betweeen the two singers is just such a special thing to me.... I fell in love with the stars because of "reunion" but this has to be my favorite... the harsh sounds at "you'll never touch him again" and "so good when it ends, you'll never be friends" hold such a special place in my heart, as well as the strings in the last third of this track... Thank you so much for this piece of music :)
