7 Miles High
stellar* Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Could be the last one you ever get
Find beauty in the small things
Happiness is only fleeting
So treasure friendship
It's the greatest of all gifts
Find comfort in companions
7 miles high
But what's a little distance
There's a corner of the sky
Looking down, down, down
7 miles high
But nobody's counting
There's a corner in the sky
Smiling down, down, down
On the rest of us
The first verse of the song "7 Miles High" by stellar* encourages listeners to appreciate every sunset because it could possibly be their last. It suggests that in the face of mortality, one should find beauty and joy in the small things. The lyrics imply that happiness is temporary and fleeting, emphasizing the need to seize and cherish moments of joy whenever they arise.
The next verse emphasizes the importance of friendship, describing it as the greatest gift one can have. It suggests that true friends are those who can look past one's flaws and imperfections, offering comfort and support. This verse highlights the significance of having genuine companions who provide understanding and acceptance, reinforcing the idea that human connection is crucial for personal fulfillment.
The chorus speaks of being "7 miles high," which can be interpreted metaphorically. It implies being above the troubles and worries of the world, transcending earthly concerns. The lyrics suggest that distance does not matter when you have this elevated perspective. The idea of a corner of the sky looking down symbolizes a place of contentment and serenity, observing and smiling upon the rest of humanity.
The repetition of "down, down, down" in the chorus adds emphasis to this idea. It further emphasizes that this elevated perspective is not dependent on numbers or measurements; it is not about how high or how far one reaches, but rather about finding a personal corner of tranquility. The chorus implies that while others may not recognize or appreciate this elevated state, it is still something to be valued and cherished as it offers solace and happiness amidst the chaos of the world.

I am happy I built my own weather proof, street legal (meaning horns lights and signals) all wheel drive ebike, max speed of 40-45 mph with enough insane torque to leave even the fastest car in the world in the dust at a stoplight ... for less than $1500 ....
And guess what. I need only 1 power cord to recharge the entire system.
And!!!!!!!! All the electronics have been thoroughly revised and reworked to be within Class 3 J-STD & MIL-SPEC requirements.
So yeah.... My time and knowledge, less the bullshit of business entrepreneurs...

Nice video and all but ... There are those of us who already got this down pat long before these big name-brand companies wanted to step in and get their dicks wet.

With a little $9 mod circuit, my Nireeka Prime now has a 3rd mode that when switched-on goes 64MPH throttle-only , instead of about 40 MPH in Sport throttle-only. I only get about 30 miles at that rate, but wow, what an amazing full carbon fiber bike for about $4K (totally up-configured).
