Once he became a little older he naturally gravitated to Bob Dylan, Robert Johnson, even the beatles. Hopefully here at this site you can find some songs written and performed by Nathan Wayne. His creations that have electronic sounds accompanied by acoustic and other intrumentation, is going to fall under the band name "That Guy from ELO". Where as, songs recorded with just him, a guitar, and a mic, are just under his name, "Nathan Wayne". Nathan is from a farm in west Texas. After working the land as a child, he ran to the city to see what it was all about and to attend college. When two brothers, Francis and Dominic, taught him more about music, he fell more and more into the idea that all god wanted from him was his guitar and his thoughts, so he held on tight to both of them. He's been traviling ever since.

I am a 70’s child. ELO has been part of my life ever since I can remember. I have always loved this band! One of my favourite memories is visiting friends in London while on holiday and they had this very cd playing in the background while taking me back to my hotel with the sunroof open. Seeing Big Ben and so many other amazing landmarks in a whole new light. What a perfect evening. I’ll never forget it. Once at the hotel they popped the cd out and gave it to me. Still have it and still listening to it! ❤️

I was born in 54 and yeah it sometimes feels wierd being the same age as "old people" lol but here we are! So thankful to have grown up in the era of the finest music ever produced! It's truly a blessing to be able to hear it just as it was then, and finally on some of the nicest gear I've ever owned in my life! Nothing beats being able to crank it without distortion it just makes it that much more enjoyable. What's ironic is nowadays kids mainly listen with earbuds or headphones or worse their phones! Thank God for ears! I've always been a gearhead. Got to hear the music from 2001 A Space Odyssey, Beatles, Beach Boys, etc, tons of rock, jazz and classical on a very decent system back in the day the albums were released. Ever since, I had to have the best I could afford. Makes you wonder how nice the studio systems were to hear during production! Probably way more bass mid and treble than the run of the mill stereos most could afford. Can you imagine not having had all these great artists and music? I can't

Always loved the awesome harmonies of ELO. Most of the hard rock bands of the mid to late 1970s had excellent vocals. Styx, Queen, ELO, Eagles, Triumph. Boston and Kansas stand out heads above the rest. They just don't have bands like this anymore.

When I hear songs from ELO or Steve Miller it’s not enough to say it brings me back to junior high. There’s a context that goes along with those memories. When this music started getting air play, there was a definite shift in how society seemed to expand. Seeing things in films we’d never before experienced (Star Wars, Close Encounters), items like the infinite mirror, lava lamps and fiber optic lights, modern architecture, electronics (remember Odyssey consoles?), just an explosion of creativity. And this music seemed to be a soundtrack of this change. Not to mention the recording equipment and engineers that were really coming into their own . I still say Fleetwood Mac and Rumors were among the best recorded and mixed albums of the era. Walk into any friends house in the late 70's and you could bet they would own one if not more ELO albums, Frampton Comes Alive!, SuperTramp-Breakfast in America, and Steve Miller Fly Like and Eagle and/or Book of Dreams. This music was the 'common ground' that many kids I knew at school could relate with each other. It was an exiting time that I’m so fortunate to have experienced at the age I did. Thanks for the upload of this great time capsule!

This music is so good it brings tears to my eyes. I got addicted to rock in college because the station there didn’t play r&b and soul until late. Just turned 64 myself and enjoy all my 70s music.

Thanks for posting! Saw them in Boston late 70's. Phenomenal and so memorable!! Jeff Lynne - Wow. .wow..wow! I love it when artists have that signature voice that can't be replicated There is nothing better than engraving that signature, setting it in stone. Jeff is a gift of talent and professional showmanship!

Excellent rock group. I seen them live and they were amazing. So much talent. Songs that dominated the 70s and 80s. Telephone line was my first 45 single. I was a fan ever since.

I have a new found appreciation for Electric Light Orchestra... I always knew they had a few great songs, but after listening to this, knowing the majority of the songs from hearing them in the past on the radio, but not knowing it was ELO until now... WOW!

Best album ever!! I would do anything to go back for a time!! My sweet daughter ❤loved this music 🎶. It was on CD back then . She was 31 when she passed away 😢. Her favorite song was telephone ☎️ line...
