Most people focus on the themes of death, grief, and hopelessness that are evoked by the game. Which are immensely beautiful in their own right. But a theme that is often overlooked is the theme of hope, a hope that is as strong as the end. We stand on the shoulders of giants, and they haven't forgotten the promise they made to our ancestors. Even if the world seems like it is going to end, we must never forget that Order is as powerful as chaos, Oaths must be upheld and a new tomorrow will always arise.

The reason it's often overlooked is because it's a pretty common theme in the Zelda series. These other ones not so much.
