I try to roll him over I kick him with my feet
I attempt to shove him or use my feet to nudge him to a different position.

Hell I gotta wake him up so I can get sleep
I have to rouse him so that I can finally get some rest.

For a moment he's quiet and then
He's silent for a brief amount of time, and then...

He's snorin' again
He resumes snoring.

In the morning he wakes up so happy
He awakens the next day in a bright and cheerful mood.

Lookin' all refreshed
Appearing rejuvenated and energized.

While I count the lines and the dark circles
Although, I closely observe the wrinkles and the bags under my eyes.

Cause I aint had no rest
Since I didn't receive any sleep.

Ohh the day seems to drag along and I can't wait to get myself in bed
The day seems to drag on forever, and I can't wait to go to sleep.

But soon that old familiar sound
However, before too long, that typical and customary noise...

Comes crashin' in my head
...starts and strongly impacts me.

It's like an old buzz saw tearin' up the walls
His snoring resembles the noise of an antiquated saw quickly destroying the walls.

And I've had more than I can take
I've had more than enough and can't endure it anymore.

I'm glad to hear he's breathin'
I'm relieved to confirm that he's still breathing.

I know he needs his rest but that snortin'and that wheezin
I comprehend that he requires his sleep, yet his snorting and wheezing...

Sure puts me to the test
...really tests my patience.

Gonna make him go sleep in the den
I'm going to persuade him to slumber in the den.

He sleeps just like a baby but he sounds just like a tank
He slumbers similarly to an infant but produces noise comparable to a massive tank.

He knows that I adore him but when he gets to snorin'
He's aware that I cherish him, but whenever he starts to snore...

I have to grab his hair and yank
I have to seize his hair and forcefully pull it.
