The Tweezers were around from 1980 to 1985 and released 2 records; You Got … Read Full Bio ↴The Tweezers were around from 1980 to 1985 and released 2 records; You Got Me With Your Tweezers, a four-song, 7” EP in 1981, produced by Dan Van Patten, drummer with Berlin; and in 1984-85 a six-song 12” EP titled Loveable & Fearless. The band was based in Orange County, Southern California and played constantly at clubs in the LA/OC area, having shared the bill with artists such as Tom Verlaine, 20/20, Gary Myrick, Robert Stoddard, The Nu Beams, the Surf Punks, and the Bangles.
You Got Me With Your Tweezers received airplay on KNAC radio, at the time very supportive of local bands, on KROQ via Rodney Bingenheimer, and on many college radio stations.

Tim Davis: Bass
