tsuki Lyrics

You was the easiest thing to do
But boy, you make it so hard
The garden It′s wilting out in the yard
I remember when loving you
You was the best thing that I could do
But boy, you are so cruel
I remember when loving you,
You was my favorite thing to do
But boy, you make it so rough
I've pulled the weeds, I′ve had enough
I remember when loving you
You was the easiest thing to do
But boy, you stray from the route
Think you're already gone, so just get out
In Tsuki's song Boy, the lyrics describe a relationship in which loving someone used to be effortless and joyful, but now it is wrought with hardship and disappointment. The garden metaphor is used to illustrate the state of the relationship, with the garden wilting in the yard due to neglect and lack of care. The lyrics suggest that the person who was once so easy to love has become cruel, planting seeds of doubt and breaking the rules of the relationship. Despite the singer's efforts to rectify the situation and work through the difficulties, they have had enough and are ready for the other person to leave.
The repetition of the line "I remember when loving you" emphasizes the nostalgia and longing for the past, when things were simpler and happier. The lyrics also highlight the frustration and disappointment felt when a relationship fails to meet expectations and becomes difficult to sustain. The use of the metaphorical garden adds another layer of meaning to the lyrics, symbolizing how a relationship, like a garden, requires consistent attention and care in order to thrive.
