Eu sou nova aqui
Não tenho trabalho, nem passe, eu sou nova aqui
Não tenho trabalho, nem classe, eu sou nova aqui
Sou nova aqui, sou nova aqui
Eu tenho fé
Que um dia vai ouvir falar de um cara que era só um Zé
E ele é uma puta mulher
Sou quase um cara
Não tenho cor, nem padrinho
Nasci no mundo, sou sozinho
Não tenho pressa, não tenho plano, não tenho dono
Tentei ser crente
Mas, meu Cristo é diferente
A Sombra dele é sem cruz, dele é sem cruz
No meio daquela luz, daquela luz
Moço, peço licença
Eu sou nova aqui
Não tenho trabalho, nem classe, eu sou nova aqui
Não tenho trabalho, nem classe, eu sou nova aqui
Sou nova aqui, sou nova aqui
Eu tenho fé
Um dia vai ouvir falar de um cara que era só um Zé
Não é noticiário de jornal, não é
Não é noticiário de jornal, não é
Sou quase um cara
Não tenho cor, nem padrinho
Nasci no mundo eu sou sozinho
Não tenho pressa, não tenho plano, não tenho dono
Tentei ser crente
Mas, meu Cristo é diferente
A Sombra dele é sem cruz, dele é sem cruz
No meio daquela luz, daquela luz
E eu voltei pro mundo aqui embaixo
Minha vida corre plana
Comecei errado, mas hoje eu 'to ciente
'To tentando se possível zerar do começo
E repetir o play, repetir o play
Não me escoro em outro e nem cachaça
O que fiz tinha muita procedência
Eu me seguro em minha palavra
Em minha mão e minha lavra, minha lavra
Sou quase um cara
Não tenho cor, nem padrinho
Nasci no mundo, sou sozinho
Não tenho pressa, não tenho plano, não tenho dono
Tentei ser crente
Mas, meu Cristo é diferente
A Sombra dele é sem cruz, dele é sem cruz
No meio daquela luz, daquela luz
The lyrics to Urias's song "Meu Mundo É Barro" tell the story of someone who is new to the world, without a job or social class, yet has faith that they will one day be known for who they are. The singer describes themselves as almost a person, with no race or connections, born alone in the world without a plan or owner. They tried to be a believer, but their version of Christ is different from the norm.
The repetition of "sou nova aqui" in the chorus emphasizes the singer's newness and uncertainty in the world, while the line "um dia vai ouvir falar de um cara que era só um Zé" suggests that they believe they will one day be a famous and respected person, despite their current lack of status.
The verse "eu voltei pro mundo aqui embaixo" suggests that the singer has experienced a change or realization, and is now trying to live a better life without relying on others or vices. The final repetition of "daquela luz" serves as a hopeful and uplifting ending to the song.
