That won them a spot to open for Blink-182 and Everclear at a festival sponsored by the station. Nate Giordano (bass guitar) joined Wetwerks to play the gig and to fill out the band.

I care for me
What you think you see
(As danger in my head)???
On my knees I begin to plead
Do you love me?
That's what she said
And now she wants me dead
Now she wants me dead
If I can't have you, then no one will
Your attempt to kill
(As danger in my head)???
On my knees I begin to plead
Do you love me?
That's what she said
Now she wants me dead
Now she wants me dead
If I can't have you, then no one will
If I can't have you, then no one will
If I can't have you, then no one will
If I can't have you, then no one...
No one will
Now she wants me dead
Now she wants me dead
Welcome to my head
The lyrics to Wetwerks's song Love Gun provide an eerie and mysterious insight into the mind of the singer. Starting off with the lyrics "I don't know, I care for me, what you think you see (as danger in my head)???", the singer is uncertain about how others perceive him and his thoughts. The phrase "as danger in my head" suggests that the singer has thoughts or feelings that are seen as potentially harmful to himself or others. The following lines depict the singer on his knees, pleading with someone to love him. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the person he is begging for love now wants him dead. The repetition of the line "Now she wants me dead" reinforces the singer's sense of betrayal and desperation.
The chorus is perhaps the most chilling part of the song, with the singer threatening "If I can't have you, then no one will". This line suggests that the singer is willing to resort to extreme measures to ensure that he is the only one who can have the object of his affection. The final lines of the song "Welcome to my head" leave the listener with a sense of unease and discomfort, as though they have been given a glimpse into a disturbed and unstable mind.
Overall, the lyrics of Love Gun provide a dark portrayal of unrequited love and the dangerous thoughts that can come with it. The singer's desperation and willingness to resort to violence makes for a haunting and unsettling listen.
