Release Yourself

What does he think about me
Let's go get your hitachi and rumble on the ground
That's all they think about
Release yourself
Cleaning up the confusion for everyone we meet
This is a singing invitation
Climbing out of illusion and finding family
Release yourself
Whitewoods's song "Release Yourself" presents the theme of liberation and freedom. The singer and another person seem to be the only attendees at a party, and the singer is wondering what the other person thinks about him/her. They both decide to leave and engage in a sexual act using a "hitachi" (a popular brand of sex toy) and tremble on the ground as a result. The lyrics "that's all they think about" indicate that both of them are consumed by their physical desires and have forgotten about everything else that's happening around them. They implore each other to "release yourself", meaning they should free themselves from any inhibitions and just give in to the moment.
The rest of the song contains lyrics about cleaning up confusion and finding family through music. The singer suggests that singing is a way to connect with others and invite them into a community of like-minded individuals. The line "climbing out of illusion and finding family" could imply that music is a form of escape that brings people together and helps them find common ground.
Overall, "Release Yourself" is a song about letting go of restrictions and embracing freedom, whether that be through physical pleasure or music.
