1) Somebody just wrote this: While the three personalities that compose wicker would fit perfectly into a Hollywood "it" kid category, the music that they create is decidedly without definition. Composed of straight lyricism and huge choruses all set to the backdrop of addictively dance oriented party music; Max Nash and Troy Spino initially set out to form an acoustic rock act to perform at friends parties that they could include their myriad of acquaintances in. The genesis of their project shifted gears when they met After Midnight Project front man and Universal/Motown recording artist Jason Evigan who helped transition the band from acoustic hip hop act to a larger than life blowout event that keeps the booze flowing and the bodies jumping via his unorthodox production style. Tyler Stone added his drumming flare after the three came together at Musicians Institute and solidified the lineup.
2) Before somebody wrote that, somebody wrote this: WICKER is not to be confused with wicker, a Memphis punk band.
WICKER, however, is a nineteen-year-old boy who spends far too much time appropriating his friends’ instruments (and occasionally his friends) in order to bend them to his despotic will. After a brief stint in late middle school and early high school working cooperatively — which resulted in an explosion of inane and mysterious bands, all of which had their own MySpaces — he has since moved on to solo work, most of which is oddly rhythmic, occasionally ethereal, and often sounds like a movie soundtrack. He is not T.S. Eliot.
3) Before somebody wrote that there, according to the history of edits, somebody had written something else, just it won't let me see what.
Sincerely,
WICKER

But they give it right back - Indian givers
They some dogs and they hoggin' up the rivers
Makin' it hard for some kids like us to deliver
I gotta doodoo I gotta make a boom 'till the whole room shakes and rumbles
Until the whole thing quakes and crumbles
Into the flow no no no no no no no oh oh
But nothing seems to change
They're already wanting more
You try to give 'em everything
But nothing seems to chaaange
No no no no no no no oh oh
No no no no no no no oh oh
You see- we three be the kings of this jungle
You fat cats and you greasy rats, we bumble
Ask the little girlie on the corner with the jump rope -
We get what we need by any means, we cutthroat
We don't do this out of rage- it's passion
We don't want this in the page - the flashin
We don't spend all our days relaxin,
Rubbin two sticks together hopin' something happens
You try to give 'em everything
But nothing seems to change
They're already wanting more
You try to give 'em everything
But nothing seems to chaaange chaaange
We're makin believe (we'll make you believe)
We'll make you believe

I've given up my life, I've given you my pride
I've given you a piece of every single thing inside

I've given up my life

The lyrics of Wicker's song Fight Back convey a message of frustration and rebellion against a system that does not deliver to those who work hard for what they want. The opening lines mention Indian givers, alluding to the pejorative term used to refer to someone who gives something away and then wants it back. This is followed by a reference to people who are like dogs hogging up the rivers and making it difficult for others, especially children, to achieve success. The singer talks about wanting to make an impact that is so powerful it shakes the whole room until it crumbles. The refrain 'you try to give them everything, but nothing seems to change' suggests that despite their best efforts, things never seem to work out for people who are at a disadvantage.
The second verse describes the singer and his comrades as the kings of the jungle and compares those in positions of power to fat cats and greasy rats. The reference to a little girl with a jump rope strengthens the idea that the singer is speaking up for the underprivileged. The mention of 'cutthroats' implies that the group will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, which are driven by passion rather than anger. The final lines of the verse speak to the fact that they do not wait for opportunities to come to them; they create their chances by rubbing wood sticks together, hoping to start a fire. This is a metaphor for their relentless pursuit of success.
Overall, the song Fight Back promotes the idea that individuals who feel disempowered must fight back against a system that does not deliver the results it has promised. It encourages listeners to take action and not wait around for opportunities to come knocking. With its powerful lyrics, catchy beat, and motivational message, Fight Back has become a rallying cry for anyone who wants to take charge of their own destiny.
