5: Ive seen that video a couple times, the plane was most likely on an approach to an airport by the coast, the warning that sounds is the stall warning, warns about the speed of the plane being to low so it cant maintain altitude anymore, then the pilots "Ditched" the plane, which is a term for doing a water landing.
4: Pilots are pilots, they do know what theyre doing but sometimes things can go wrong. 3: Birdstrike, pretty much every modern 2 engined plane is designed to fly with 1 engine, so if that happend mid-air, it wouldve been safe. 2: As said, the fire could have resultet in an explosion. 1: Since they could still breathe before they put the oxygen mask on, they were probably at a lower altitude, however rapid-deprssurisation can result in fatal incidents.

in my opinion: It was a soft landing but the pilot may have not make it out alive because the nose of the plane (not the human nose if yall dont know) kinda hit hard and the plane was filling up so fast that he also may have drowned as you may seen on the camera :(

Number 2:
No, taking luggage isn‘t „following the safety protocols“, it‘s just dumb and risks health and life instead of just property. Even the safety card on-board tells you so. And this is the reason why you should back-up important documents and have the most important things like your phone and wallet near you .
Number 1:
That too wasn‘t dangerous. It certainly was unusual, but these chemical oxygen masks can last for 15 minutes, which is enough time to descend from 43100ft (max. altitude of a 747-8) to a safe altitude.

shout out to them pilots, it sucks how they save the day but still get blamed on for damages & losses caused to the airlines. They’re literally harrassed even though all odds were against them while flying, they always get the fingers pointed at them & always looked at as the one at fault when most of the time it’s just a malfunction from the plane or something hitting the engine. The people will always be thankful for whatever the pilots can do as long as they’re saved from a horrible/fatal situation, yet these big greedy companies will still find a way to acuse these men for the most stupid reasons. If you running a company you’re gonna take a loss one way or another & they need to have that mindset, they can’t just switch up and act innocent after a tradgedy we’re all humans not robots & even the engines have malfunctions they cant just blame the pilots 100%. I just find these situations kinda dumb , they did what they could & saved some valuable lives & thats all that should matter. They always try finding a way to get their so called money back when they’re already millionares.

On that last one, the SW plane that had an engine explode? You are incorrect saying everyone survived. The woman that got sucked out the window expired in spite of their best efforts. So there was a fatality. I remember this incident VERY well.
EDIT: Watching these videos does not put me off flying. I have a very pragmstic attitude about it. When your number's up, your number's up. Doesn't matter if you're 30,000 feet in the air or walking across the road to get your mail. Flying is still the safest way to travel.
