Rumour
G. L. O. W. ALC Lyrics

But I won't I'll admit
That I am haunted
Shackles bind my inner flame
And the eyes in my back
Dreams of gold turned to black
We could fly higher
But I'm a crow who clipped his wings
Just shut the voices in your head
No need to back down or pride will leave you dead
Our time here is limited
Yet we fear what they think
And I am tired
Of the doubt that lives inside
Don't care about what others said
And shut the voices in your head
No need to back down or pride will leave you dead
I have a gift that world won't see
Until I will reveal true me
But I am trying to leave all of that behind
Never care about what others said
And kill the voices in your head
No need to back down or pride will leave you dead
In "Rumour" by G.L.O.W.ALC, the lyrics express a sense of struggle and inner conflict that the singer faces. They yearn to fully commit themselves to a certain path or pursuit, but they also acknowledge that they are haunted by their own doubts and fears. The metaphorical imagery of shackles binding their inner flame suggests that they feel hindered and restrained in expressing their true potential. The line "dreams of gold turned to black" indicates a sense of disappointment or loss.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the importance of not being swayed by the opinions and judgments of others. The lyrics encourage the listener to shut out negative voices and not let pride get in the way of their own growth and fulfillment. The repetition of "care about what others said" and "shut the voices in your head" reinforces the message of self-belief and resilience.
The second verse touches upon the universal fear of judgment and the pressure to conform to societal expectations. The singer expresses their exhaustion from constantly doubting themselves and wanting to break free from these restraints. The desire to reveal their true self and share their gift with the world is juxtaposed with the difficulty of leaving behind the doubts and opinions that hold them back. The lyrics once again emphasize the importance of not backing down and letting pride lead to a sense of defeat.
Overall, "Rumour" conveys a message of self-empowerment and staying true to oneself despite the external pressures and doubts that may arise. It encourages the listener to overcome their own internal struggles and find the strength to pursue their dreams and express their true identity.

Saber should definitely get her own room!
1. Saber has a reason why being 18 she should get her own room (making connections with boyfriend which is fair considering she is an adult women) Biggy has no reason behind why being the only boy means he needs his own room
2. I don’t think Saber can just move out. That is such a big step going from sharing with three siblings and living with your parents who pay bills ect to living by herself or with a roommate and having to manage her own finances.
Personally I think the order of who should get priority to their own room
should be
1. Sabre
2. Biggy
3. Sockie or naz
