The opening riff bears some similarities to Marillion's "The Release" (a b-side from the "Seasons End" sessions). The band's lead singer Steve Hogarth hints on the band's official website: "I always thought this song bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain Pink Floyd single... See you in court!..."
Around the middle of the song, starting at around 03:04, between the main lyrics, can be heard children chanting lines from a nursery rhyme "Ring-O'-Roses": "...A pocket full of posies, atichoo, atichoo, we all fall down". (A strong allusion to the same nursery rhyme can be heard in Marillion's song "Forgotten Sons", from the first album, "Script for a Jester's Tear" (1983): "Ring-a-ring-o-roses, they all fall down...".)
Take It Back

I listen to her breathing it sounds like the waves on the sea
I was thinking all about her, burning with rage and desire
We were spinning into darkness the earth was on fire
She could take it back, she might take it back some day
So I spy on her, I lie to her, I make promises I cannot keep
And I make her prove her love for me, I take all that I can take
I push her to the limit to see if she will break
She might take it back, she could take it back some day
Now I have seen the warnings, screaming from all sides
It's easy to ignore them, God knows I've tried
All of this temptation, you know it turned my faith to lies
Until I couldn't see the danger or hear the rising tide
She can take it back, she will take it back some day
She can take it back, she will take it back some day
She will take it back, she will take it back some day
The lyrics to Pink Floyd's "Take It Back" explore the complex and tumultuous nature of a romantic relationship. The male protagonist describes his love for the woman in question as rain that falls on him "easy as the breeze," and he is seemingly overwhelmed by her presence. However, the lyrics quickly take a darker turn as the singer reveals that he lies to her, makes promises he cannot keep, and pushes her to her limits. Despite this negative behavior, the singer acknowledges that she still loves him and that she could potentially take back the love that he has taken for granted.
The lines "We were spinning into darkness, the earth was on fire" create a vivid image of a relationship that is spiraling out of control. The singer's intense desire for the woman has caused him to act recklessly and without regard for her feelings or well-being. The repetition of the phrase "she might take it back, she could take it back some day" reinforces the singer's fear that the woman may eventually tire of his behavior and leave him.
The final lines of the song suggest that the singer has finally realized the danger of his actions and that he may be too late to save the relationship. He confesses that he has ignored warnings and given in to temptation, and that his faith has been turned to lies. Despite this realization, he still believes that the woman may have the power to "take back" her love and potentially salvage their relationship.
Overall, "Take It Back" is a haunting exploration of the complexities of romantic love and the dangers of taking someone for granted. The lyrics suggest that even the deepest love can be lost if it is not treated with care and respect.

Ella podría volver a tomarlo,
Ella debería volver a tomarlo
Ella podría volver a tomarlo,

I’ve seen so many concerts in my lifetime and I’m telling you right now NOTHING comes close to a Pink Floyd concert with the original members. When you are in the center of the audience and you are looking up at this visual and sound experience you really feel like you are looking up at the mothership. The experience was unbelievable. One the greatest bands of all time.

But Dave Gilmour wasn't an original member of Pink Floyd, he only joined when Syd Barrett was becoming too unhinged to perform on stage. That being said I don't think Pink Floyd is really Pink Floyd without Dave Gilmour 😅

Unbelievably uplifting song with a critical life changing warning and David Gilmours vocals perfectly encapsulate this brilliantly, the division bell album is so underrated and what epic performances to showcase this at Earls court in 1994,the last of the live shows on this monstrous scale.....never ever to be seen again.

"TDB" is not uNdErRaTeD, it's intentionally neglected by music journalists, Waters' cultists and even PF fans since when it was released. The character assassination against "TDB" and "Pulse" makes it impossible for both to be "underrated."
Until the 2000s you were deemed "ignorant" if you said you liked "TDB" and called yourself a PF fan. Nowadays "TDB" has a popularity that it never had.
