The lyrics of 松山恵子's song お別れ公衆電話 speaks of a woman who is making a farewell phone call to someone she loves but cannot be with. The first stanza talks about her silent decision to ride the train without telling anyone, but before doing so, she stops by a public telephone at the train station cafe to make that one last call. She regrets calling and says that it was foolish of her to have done so because it only reminds her of the things she cannot have. The second stanza is a conversation with her lover, where she tells him that it is okay for her not to be loved by him, and that she understands that being in love hurts. She urges him not to come to her and to stay as things will only become more fragile if they meet again. The third and last stanza is directed towards herself, reminding her that she has a future, and that she should forget about the man who will soon be just a memory for her.

松山恵子さんは、若い時、夏祭りの出演が決まっていたので、見にいきましたが、都合で、平浩二さんの、代演でした。松山さんの、フアンだつたのでがっかりしましたが、ばストツプ歌が、素敵でした！
