@@badgermole4150 You'll only hurt yourself deeper by doing that. You have to be brave. There is no paradise for you to escape to. Work on yourself. Not just your body but your mind. Stop unhealthy habits. YouTube is one for me that I struggle with. But you can't give up.
Even if it is hard, don't just throw everything away and ball up. You have to keep standing back up. You have to fight to live. Fight your shadow that tortures you from the inside. Don't let it control you. Accept it and work to change yourself. You can find love. I truly believe it. I don't think dating apps are good for love.
In my experience, befriending someone without gross intentions is the best way to find love. Girls are really easy to be friends with. As long as you aren't a pervert or sex pest. Any relationship built on sex will end in heartbreak. A relationship built on friendship is very durable.
You probably won't find a nice girl at a bar or club unless she is with her friends and got dragged along. Girls typically find guys who try to "woo" them as disgusting, and the girls that don't find it gross are typically gross themselves.
If you meet a girl, just treat them like any friend. The idea is to look for companionship, not sex. If you do fall in love and she doesn't, who cares, at least you have a friend. And she may introduce you to one of her friends, because as people, we want the people we care about to be happy.
The most important thing in this life is forming true, pure connections. Nothing based on greed or lust, but genuine bonds. No one can live alone. I tried it for years.
One last thing, never make assumptions. People are always putting on a facade. We are all complex individuals, and no "pseudo-psychology" videos have the answers.
If you don't succeed, just try again. The only way to win is to fight. If you don't fight, you can't win. If you win, you live. If you do nothing, you'll waste time. Don't give up on yourself. You don't know me, but I truly believe you can live a life you want.
