Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Kill The Noise's song "Thumbs Up" seem to have a straightforward message of believing in oneself and continuing to practice until success is achieved. The repetition of the phrase "I know you can believe in yourself" reinforces the idea that self-belief is key in achieving one's goals, even something as seemingly simple as learning to ride a bike. The chorus of "thumbs up, everybody, for rock n' roll" adds an uplifting and celebratory tone to the song, encouraging listeners to keep going and celebrating their achievements.

It could also be interpreted that the lyrics are about the struggles of being an artist. The phrase "thumbs up" could reference the use of a thumb to signal approval or to hitchhike, both of which could be seen as symbols of support and encouragement for a struggling artist. The repeated refrains of "believe in yourself" and "keep practicing" also underscore the importance of perseverance in the face of rejection and discouragement.

Overall, "Thumbs Up" is a motivational anthem that encourages listeners to believe in themselves and keep striving for success, regardless of their current abilities or circumstances.

Great song but this song is not dubstep.

@Xanderfied

Nah, more Bro-step (Skrillex, Knife-party, Getter) style really. Since we are gonna wax hipsterlectual.

@krufty47

@Michael Crider it's not brostep either. Brostep is the same tempo as dubstep. This is too fast for either of those. It's electro house technically
