Trinh's first single to hit the Internet waves was "Passed me by", in December 2003. Although the editing wasn't the best, nobody could deny that she would be going somewhere soon, with her catchy lyrics and her sweet voice. Soon after releasing her next singles, "Missing you" and "Always wanna be with you", she became the #1 unsigned artist on SoundClick.com and Mp3.com.
Receiving emails from fans all around the world, Trinh learned that "Missing you" had touched the lives of so many people with its emotional lyrics, comforting many in the loss of a loved one. The song was definitely a hit then, and continues to be popular to this day.
Next to come would be another hit called "Never be replaced". With its lullaby-type beat and cute, simple lyrics, how could you not sing along? Still made with bad quality was a huge hit.
The singles "I'm sorry", "Not ok with change", and "Can't go on" quickly followed onto the charts, also hitting # 1. Recently, hip-hop artist Pitbull said at an album release party, "There's no doubt that she has undeniable talent. I've known her for a while now. She's a cool girl and y'all will be catchin' her on the air waves soon".
Trinh Tran is now working on her sophomore album, and as her first album was titled, "I AM NOT LEAVIN", she's holds true to her word, because this young lady is not going anywhere.
