Skupinu AMO tvorí trojica ľudí, konkrétne to sú Opak, Moe a Viktor Hazard.
Opak svoju hip-hopovú kariéru zahájil na prelome roku 95 a 96, kedy sa okrem inline agressive korčulovaniu venoval graffiti. Toho času plánoval kapelu so Zetorom (dnes známym DJom Yanom zo zoskupenia H16) a writerom Braom alebo Darkom (WGC, DCK). Keďže jeho pokusy zlyhali, postaral sa o zrod kapely KraKalla v prvej líni s raperom z ulice Deža -Vu. Neskôr sa pridal Blažo (dnes účinkujúci v Rendezská-SK).. Tá patrila vo svojej dobe po boku kapiel ako Názov Stavby, či Psyché k totálnej domácej hip-hopovej špičke. Opak na sebe celú tu dobu pracoval a v súčasnosti ho môžeme smelo zaradiť medzi slovenských top producentov a raperov. Má svoj vlastný, nezameniteľný štýl a „najlepší zvuk“. ;)
Druhým, no o nič nemenej podstatným členom kapely je Moe. Je to výbroný raper a tiež freestyler (zúčastnil sa tiež oboch dielov slovenského freestyle battlu), v súčasnosti sa profiluje aj na veľmi dobrého producenta. Jeho úplne začiatky sa datujú ku skupine Psyché, z ktorej neskôr odišiel. Začali pokusy o produkciu s menej výrazným producentom a raperom GOGOm. Nahrali demo vďaka ktorému si Moeho, skutočne unikátny flow všimol Opak. Moe teda naskočil do rozbehnutého vlaku menom KraKalla. Jeho flow je originálny a dá sa označiť za vyslovene rýchly. Ťažko by ste hladali niekoho, kto by sa mu v tomto ohľade vyrovnal.
Posledný z trojice členov kapely je Viktor Hazard. K hip-hopu sa dostáva cez graffiti už v roku 1995, keď sa postupne formuje na jedného z najfejmovejších writerov tej doby. Táto činnosť ho drží až do roku 1999, kedy ako prvý v našej krajine dostáva šancu robiť vlastnú hip-hopovú rádioshow. V tej istej dobe sa dostáva aj k DJingu a prvý krát sa stretáva s OPAKom. Ten ho osloví na spoluprácu a tak sa Viktor Hazard (v tej dobe známy ako DJ Amen alebo Amn2) stáva koncertným DJom (v tej dobe už veľmi populárnej) kapely KraKalla. To už bola doba, kedy sa hip-hop pomaly na Slovensku udomácňoval a keďže chalani mali silné meno, zúčastnili sa každej veľkej párty s menami ako Das EFX, Masta Ace, Afu-Ra, Jeru The Damaja, DJ Vadim, Looptroop. V súčasnosti Viktor Hazard moderuje spolu s Lyrikom H najpočúvanejšiu hip-hopovú rádioshow Sampler RadioShow. Taktiež je jedným z najvyťaženejších a najlepšie platených domácich DJov, obajvil sa na albumoch Čistychov – Né Produkt! a Drvivá Menšina – Menej Je Niekedy Viac. V tomto roku vydal svoju mixovanú výberovku slovenského rapu nazvanú „Rap Superstar Mixtape vol. 1“.
Všetci traja sa stretávajú v kapele KraKalla v roku 2001. V tej dobe im ešte s Blažom ale už bez Deža - Vu vychádza prvý underground koláč s názvom „Neskoro v noci“. Neskôr, v roku 2003 zakladajú kapelu AMO. Opak ako prvý z bratislavských rapových producentov tvorí podklady na MPC a to sa odrazilo aj na zvuku prvého vinylového singla AMO, „Svet Patrí Mne/Čo Si Čakal?“, ktorý vychádza súčasne so zrodom kapely. Vinyl ich katapultuje na všetky dôležité domáce festivaly (Pohoda, Hodokvas, Hip Hop Kemp), opäť koncertujú s veľkými menami a postupne sa stávajú jednou z najpoprednejších domácich hip-hopových kapiel. O rok neskôr, znova pod hlavičkou svojho vlastného undergroundového labelu „24 Hodín Records“ vydávajú druhý singel „Rap 2005“. Na tomto vynile sa nachádza dnes už známy hit Bratislava, ku ktorému natočili svoj prvý nízkorozpočtový videoklip.Chalani sú známi špičkovými živými vystúpeniami, ako aj originálnou hudobnou produkciou a prejavom, ktoré jemne presahujú hranice hip-hopu k jeho príbuzným štýlom (reggae, dancehall). Ich nesporný talent si všimli aj za hranicami našej republiky, a tak často koncertujú u našich českých susedov a dokonca, ako jediní mali koncert vo Viedni pre nemecky hovoriace publikum, ktoré ich prijalo veľmi kladne.
31.10.2005 AMO vydáva svoj debutový album „Original“ (rovnako, ako aj „Rap SuperStar Mixtape Vol. 1“, vychádza v exkluzívnej spolupráci Universal Music s.r.o. a HIP-HOP.sk)
