Catastrophic changes can happen quickly and in unexpected ways, and we are seeing it happen now.

Went from defendable to untenable
What we thought was sustainable and defensible is now untenable and must be changed.

Authority and influence renders itself irreparable
Those in power have become so corrupt that the system itself is beyond repair.

Structure and destruction are inseparable
The act of dismantling the old system is also the act of creating a new, more equitable one.

Inexorably moral forces changes course to be detestable, it's destined
The moral forces behind change become morally repulsive to those who benefit from the current system, but this change is also inevitable and destined to happen.

In response we refuse to involve ourselves in it
We will not participate in the current system or try to reform it from within.

Evolution is scarred when an arm guards and shifts it
The current system, even when trying to change, is still holding onto its old ways and preventing true progress.

We run from arms, we will not lengthen ours and connect to land or law
We will not compromise our values and become part of the oppressive system or try to work through legal channels.

That's bound to cause tremendous harm
Breaking away from the old system will not come without its share of pain or difficulty, but it is necessary.

A random draw creates new beginnings
Sometimes, change comes about simply by chance.

Continuation emboldens old paths of control
Continuing on the same path perpetuates the old systems of control and oppression.

With renewed pizazz, and turns righteous to sinners
Even those who consider themselves righteous or moral can be corrupted by the power dynamics of the system.

There's no escape from the burden,
We cannot ignore the problems and challenges that come with change.

Unless we break and disperse this mold
The only way forward is to break free from the old molds of thinking and systems.

Hate to inform you must embrace burning
Change often comes with discomfort, destruction, and upheaval, but it is necessary to create something new.
