Hold The Line
ABI-Band 2011/SIXPACK/white.box Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I left home the beloved second son
Filled with promise and a tear drop in my eye
An escape my new life had just begun
With a whisper I did run into the night into the night

Go where there's dust I chase my shadow from the sun
Fix my eyes on the ocean keep it in my sight
There I sail into a sinking sea of sin no getting out once you've been in
Its not to try its not to try

Hold the wind hold the line woo who who
Hold the wind hold the line woo who who

Longer at sea I begin to lose my mind
No sense of wrong or right just survive
Sky it guides me where my anger always goes
Into a bottle and overflows out my mind oh out my mind

Hold the wind hold the line woo who who
Hold the wind hold the line ah ah ah
Hey!

Gone where they don't find the open road bottles all I know
I can't get dry dry
Iv'e lost everything I know
I still can't find find the line hold the line

Hold the wind hold the line woo who who
Hold the wind hold the line woo who who

Hold the wind hold the line woo who who
Hold the wind hold the line ah ah ah

The monk most likely grew up in that region and has scaled that wall thousands of times to where he knows how to distribute his body weight so he won't fall. Anyone can do it, just takes time and alot of practice.

@flames9027

Exactly my thoughts

@gmlaster

I was thinking the same thing as I watched him go this way and that to find the best places to step instead of walking in a straight line.

@robertnewell4054

In technical climbing this is considered a low angle slab. If you notice his body position it’s not unlike “climbing” steep stairs. It’s more akin to hiking & technically not very challenging, though decidedly exposed

I would freak out so bad if I found out I had a octopus attached to me.

@primeB-gz7om

That octopus would be lunch and dinner for me.

@ronturner5560

That old guy in Russia skateboarding since 1981, whew, he must be very tied.

@bassdmin7436

Odds are that if you jump back in the ocean, the octopus will let go and swim off.
That Munk was amazing! Bare footed climbing that incline!! Amazing!!!
Father and son was a precious moment.
