Were you using a crossfire receiver or the vista? I just lost my babyhawk II in a numbnuts move myself. I was standing against/under a metal roof and flying out in front of me when I decided to go up high around 250ft and behind me. Lost video transmission completely. My biggest mistake (besides standing next to a metal building) was continuing to fly it for 5-8 seconds blind before I lowered throttle and disarmed it. I did a grid search using onX and walked 2 miles in a 4 acre patch of woods but never found it. Ordered another babyhawk and a Vifly mini buzzer. Not making the same mistake twice. Assuming I don't pick a stupid spot to stand again. If I ever have an issue from flying low like you or get blocked by trees I will immediately switch to angle mode and punch the throttle to gain altitude.

Sorry to hear you lost your drone, I actually found mine but I think the AIO is dead, I have to look in to that. I used crossfire with one of the wire antennas, immortal T is a bit big for this little guy in my opinion. I had video the second of fail safe so I just walked in the direction the quad was moving and found it. Though it was a fairly long walk.

@Eirik's Hobbies Can't believe you lost crossfire link before the video went out. I guess if you fly it over/below a hill it can go out quick...... Have you checked to see if your controller is on the right frequency? My tango 2 was wrong out of the box but luckily I watched this video before my first flight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLiVzoNSDh4

@mdees88 I have to admit it was a bit strange but yes, I checked the link before I left for the field. LQ was 98% and then suddenly 0 and I bet the antenna on the VTX was the better one hence the extra second or two of video. Going to watch the clip you linked, thanks.
