Sometimes you'd like to throw in the towel and just accept your station
Occasionally, you may want to give up and accept your current position.
But at night when you lay down, is it just me
Do you experience the same thing as me when you lie in bed at night?
Or does a voice turn on in your brain that won't let you sleep
Does an internal voice keep you awake, preventing you from getting rest?
And does it tell you what you already knew
Does that voice remind you of what you already know and what you should do?

Do you feel like you've made a difference, does it even matter that much
Do you feel like you have made a significant impact, and does it even make a difference?
And as you face the unknown have you any regrets
As you approach the unknown future, do you have any regrets about your past actions or decisions?
Could you have done more, do you feel like you've done your best
Questions such as, 'Could I have done more, or did I give my best effort?'
Have you any fears left or do they die out with age
Do you still have any fears, or do they disappear as you grow older?
Peace be with you as you live out the rest of your days
May you have peace and tranquility as you continue to live your remaining days.
