Aeden Alvarez wrote his first song when he was five years old, and released his first single After Always (Acoustic) at 17. Besides writing songs, Aeden spends his free time mastering his fields in theatre, poetry and creative writing. With a left-handed guitar, his voice, and plenty of hours locked in his room, Aeden creates a raw sound that's been honed for years and is still in the process of fine-tuning. Although, he believes in the art of imperfection; just as long as they are not heard the majority of the time. Though born in Los Angeles and raised in Hong Kong, Aeden has full Filipino blood (with a little bit of Mexican and Chinese traces here and there). He won his very first competition in his third year of primary, which was his school's version of American Idol. Lucky enough to have attained a Music Scholarship at his high school, Aeden aspires to perform at concerts and in a Broadway musical. Aeden grew up with major influences like Tori Kelly, Alessia Cara, Fantasia, Ariana Grande, Aretha Franklin, Jessie J, Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga. He listens to music everyday with one playlist of 900 songs called "MyJam". There-in lies a broad compilation of songs from every genre, from country to showtunes, from pop to jazz. Nowadays, writing songs has always been a tool for Aeden to cope with himself. It only makes his job even more worthwhile when the same songs help other people.
