The band was conceived by Pontus Wallgren in March 2003, and some time later the band's first song, Not Today, was recorded. They were immediately signed to Labrador that put the demo version of the song on their site. The feedback from visitors including the Swedish magazine Sonic (which wrote an article about the band just because they loved the song so much) was overwhelming. The debut 7“ single was released in October 2003 to positive reviews and, newly gained, fans acclaim.
In the summer of 2005 the band started recording an EP and after hearing the finished result, Labrador dropped the band. The search for a new label that would want to release the EP started. And in the late summer of 2006 they finally found a new home at Lavender.

Having watched this I keep thinking about the analogy of the scratched record as your life plays out. How Julie was trapped in the groove of the trauma in relation to stairs until you both helped her. I love the simplicity of schema conditioning. On a separate note I have another name for your collection. My mother says she loves your new book I bought her written by the Shipmans!! Nearly as good as Barry and Eve Fitzpatrick.

She's such a beautiful woman, it's a pity that she had such a fear and suffered all these years. So happy she overcame her fear

Nik and Eva, I meant to share with you I found out there's another label to add to the fight/fight/freeze response when someone's protection mechanism is activated during a trauma. It's called 'faint'. I don't mean literally faint, but apparently some people can feel weak and feel a little spaced out and need to lie down from their experience. Maybe listen to some soothing music. Enya is always a safe bet. So we have the four Fs. the fight/flight/freeze/faint response.

I hate looking down the stairs, its like the fear of the dark youre not afraid of the dark its what lies in the dark.

I’m 58 male and today l went to a store lve never been in and l went upstairs they were 6ft wide and vey high but l wanted to go upstairs ,but coming down l had trouble l was getting vertigo and knew l was going to fall if l tried to walk down, l felt like a child helpless they offered help l turned it down ,so l ended up sitting down on the floor and working my way down on my rump but the fear was gone l felt safer doing it that way ,even my son 22 told me not to go upstair he to thought the steps were to high. I hav stairs at home but they are not 6 ft wide and l hav no problems with them.
