Talk
Aiida Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
That's why I hate you
Cause you make ′em
You fucked up, end of conversation
Three years later you wanna hit my line
To apologize
Past is the past, have to laugh, cause you're mad
Already over it
You keep coming back, can′t relax, ′bout to snap
Cause you can't take a hint
No, you can′t act like this
Got a lot to say when it's a little too late
You′re calling me up like you're saving the day
You wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Oh, you wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
You′re down for a minute, no we're not on a break
You're calling me up, like my feelings would change
You wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Oh, you wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what?
Oh, you wanna talk
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
You′re sad, sorry; not my issue
Don′t think I ever miss you
(Mhmmmm)
It's clear you didn′t get the message
You coming off desperate you helpless, you reckless, you selfish
You're way too obsessive
Past is the past, have to laugh, cause you′re mad
I'm already over it
I know you′re not over it
You keep coming back, can't relax, 'bout to snap
Cause you can′t take a hint
No, you can′t act like this
Got a lot to say when it's a little too late
You′re calling me up like you're saving the day
You wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Oh, you wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
You′re down for a minute, no we're not on a break
You′re calling me up, like my feelings would change
You wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Oh, you wanna talk
(Talk about what?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what?
Oh, you wanna talk
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what? (What?)
Talk about what?
Oh, you wanna talk
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
(Now you wanna talk about what?)
In this song, Aiida is addressing a former lover who messed up their relationship and is now attempting to apologize years later. However, Aiida is uninterested in having a conversation with this person because they simply cannot change the past. She is over it and has already moved on with her life, while this person keeps coming back, unable to let go of the relationship they once had. Aiida is clearly frustrated with the situation and the person's behavior, as they are being "obsessive" and "selfish".
The chorus repeats the question "Talk about what?", reflecting how pointless Aiida finds it to engage with this person. She asks why they are trying to have a conversation now, when they clearly didn't care enough about the relationship when it mattered. The repeated line "Talk about what?" shows the futility and irritation of this communication attempt. Throughout the song, Aiida conveys a sense of closure and finality, emphasizing that the past is in the past and cannot be changed.

What is to stop any untalented person who never practiced art from picking a specific style and pretending to be a real artist online?
It's not going to be "easy" to tell a real artists web page apart from someone depending entirely on AI, they just have to be careful not to be "too good" at too many different kinds of art, not to post too frequently and it's not suspicious.
It's going to be too easy for fake artists to flood the market.
I've also seen people who used to commission artists talk about how glad they will be to "not have to pay those GREEDY artists anymore"
Anybody who wanted their character drawn in my style can just feed my gallery to the AI and ask for their character in my style, myself and other artists like me will DEFINITELY suffer from this.
Even well meaning customers who only want human made art, will very easily be duped left and right.

I love how one of the first things they try to do is replace possibly one of the only professions originally considered almost impossible to replace by a robot.

Robots are productive so, I'm guessing all these dweebs are safe.

For the record (because I got laughed at back in the day), I've always known robots and AI can replace any and all human activities, and do things we can't. Nice to be vindicated, finally.

I want to know, can it do care work? Can it wipe our arses?

@Marchosa Most artists do that for sure. But those styles come from somewhere to begin with and eventually they do sometimes get their own.

Imagine how hard it would be for anyone of us to get an audience at the House of Lords and yet there sitting around talking to AI. not even plugged in, giving AI citizenship and rights most people only got a couple hundred years ago? Something about this is not right.

It is treated with more respect than about 90% of the planet :D
Venmis
Seems perfectly all right to me.

@Umen Human really? Because humans come from parent humans yet still feel unique.
