So today I wrote a song for you
I'm dedicating this song to you and your struggles.

I understand that sometimes days can feel unbearable.

And I know its hard to make it through
I know it's challenging to keep going when everything feels too heavy.

I hear that things aren't going well and you need support.

So I'm trying to put it right
I want to make things better for you, to the best of my ability.

All this trying has made me tight
I'm feeling tense and stressed from trying to help you.

And I don't know even where to start
I'm struggling to figure out how to make things better for you.

Maybe that's a start

Sometimes our struggles feel insurmountable, but they're not impossible to overcome.

You tend to overthink and let your worries consume you.

You're avoiding confronting the difficult emotions you're feeling.

Hiding your face in your hands
You're trying to hide your emotions and hide from me.

Flying so you won't land
You're avoiding facing your problems by escaping them.

You think no one understands
You feel like nobody comprehends the depth of your struggles.

You feel isolated and alone, like nobody can relate to what you're going through.

So you hunch your shoulders and you shake your head
Your body language shows that you're closed off and resistant to help.

And your throat is aching but you swear
You're feeling a lot of pain and discomfort, but trying to hide it.

No one hurts you, nothing could be sad
You believe that nobody has the power to hurt you, but this belief is causing you pain.

Anyway you're not here enough to care
You're distant and detached from the people who care about you, despite their efforts to support you.

And you're so tired you don't sleep at night
Your stress and worry is keeping you awake and unable to rest.

As your heart is trying to mend
You're trying to heal from past hurts and wounds, but it's a slow process.

You keep it quiet but you think you might
You're not sharing your struggles with anyone, but you feel like you might break down.

Disappear before the end
You're afraid you might not make it through your struggles to the other side.

And its strange that you cannot find
It's confusing to you that you're struggling so much and don't know how to improve things.

Any strength to even try
You're feeling so defeated that you don't even have the energy to attempt to overcome your struggles.

To find a voice to speak your mind
You're struggling to express yourself and articulate what's bothering you.

When you do, all you want to do is cry
When you do finally open up, you become very emotional and overwhelmed.

Well maybe you should cry
It's okay to let your emotions out and cry, as it can be an important step in healing.

Talking bout far-away lands
You're daydreaming and avoiding your problems rather than confronting them.

Listen to my hands
Let me help you and be there for you by extending my hands to offer support.

And all of this life
The struggles and difficulties of life.

Moves around you
You feel like everything is happening to you and impacting you directly.

For all that you claim
Despite your belief that nobody understands your struggles.

You're standing still
You're feeling stuck and unable to move forward.

You are moving too
You're actively doing things, but they're not helping you progress forward.

You are moving too
Despite feeling stuck, you're still making progress in your own way.
