Yaitu Aya Maranda, gadis kelahiran pada 19 Mei 2000 dan Lala Maranda, gadis kelahiran 22 September 2001. Alien Child memulai karir mereka dengan kepribadian, gaya, dan visi yang jauh berbeda.
Kedua saudari itu memutuskan untuk menulis lagu dan merilisnya pada tahun 2013. Saat usia kedua saudari ini berusia 13 dan 14 tahun, mereka pindah ke Bali dan culture shock yang dialami memndorong mereka dalam titik kebingungan dan kekosongan.
Mereka tidak tahun apa yang harus dilakukan dan bagaiaman cara menghadapi emosi mereka. Hingga akhirnya keduanya mulai menuliskan pemikiran mereka dan membagikannya kepada dunia lewat musik dan karya yang dihasilkan.
Dalam perjalanan awal sebagai duo, mereka dikenal dengan nama panggung ‘BTMDG’ yang merupakan singkatan dari asal mereka yaitu Desa Batumadeg, Nusa Penida.
Walaupun berasal dari Bali, Aya Maranda dan Lala Maranda sempat tinggal selama 11 tahun di Kanada bersama kedua orang tua mereka. Darah seni keduanya berasal dari sang ibunda, Heny Janawati yang merupakan seorang opera singer dan vocal instructor.
