I'm aware that many others also hold regrets about their past actions or decisions.

At times, I feel like I'm the only one who can confront or face the reality of my reflection or past.

I wish I could live a little more, Look up to the sky, not just the floor
I long to live more, to lift my head high and dream beyond my current circumstances.

Feel like my life is flashing by, All I can do is watch and cry
I have the sensation that my life is passing by quickly, and I'm unable to do anything but watch and sob.

I miss the air, I miss my friends, Miss my mother, miss it when, Life was a party to be thrown
I yearn for the freedom, companionship, and happiness of my past, of those moments when life was full of joy and celebration.

That was a million years ago
It feels like those moments of happiness and freedom were so long ago that they might as well be a million years ago.

When I walk around all of the streets, Where I grew up and found my feet, They can't look me in the eyes, Like they're scared of me
As I wander around my hometown, the people there can't seem to look me directly in the eye, as though they're afraid or uneasy.

I try to think of things to say, Like a joke or a memory, They can't look me in the eyes, Like they're scared of me
I attempt to engage them in conversation, to reminisce or make small talk, but they still avoid eye contact as though intimidated.

Who never became who they thought they'd be
I'm one of many who didn't quite meet the expectations of themselves or others earlier in their lives.

And all I can do is watch and cry
I'm completely helpless, and all I can do is cry.
