miss you
Almost Cool Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

She said that this will take some time
That I don't have and
Then she just said goodbye
And left...
And I miss you
And I know it's not right
But it's hard to understand you
When you're crying
It all happened because you happened to me
Girl I know this will take some time
That you don't have it

Just listen to your heart
Once more...

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Almost Cool's song Miss You seem to be about a broken relationship where the woman has left and the singer is left feeling lost and missing her. The opening lines indicate that the woman has said that this will take some time but the singer doesn't have the patience for it. She then just says goodbye and walks away, leaving him to deal with the aftermath. Despite this, he still misses her and acknowledges that it's not the right feeling to have, but he can't help it. He finds it difficult to understand her when she's crying, perhaps implying that she was upset before she left and he didn't fully understand the reasons behind her decision.

The chorus is a plea for her to come back - "And I miss you, and I know it's not right, but it's hard to understand you when you're crying." This seems to indicate that the singer still cares for her and wants to work through whatever issues they had, but he's struggling to communicate with her. The bridge section suggests that the woman is the one who has to take the lead, "Just listen to your heart once more." It's possible that she is the one who initiated the break-up and he is encouraging her to reconsider her decision.

Overall, the lyrics paint a picture of someone struggling to come to terms with a break-up and desperately missing his former partner. He wants to reach out to her but is finding it difficult to understand her emotions.

@Josh Dela Rama Yes u're absolutely right, its not the country's fault for not cheering other countries, its a competition right.
But, let me ask u this, how would u be so sure that its a 'curse' that Philippines didn't made it to the semis until Venus Raj break that so-called curse.

And FYI honey, u told me to educate myself, when your country put a video saying that Pia Wurtzbach was being biased against Rachel Peters for not making it to the top 5 in the 2017 Miss Universe competition. Oh honey, Think Before You Speak, I guess u should be the one to educate your fellow countrymen about racism bfore even defending them.

And if thats not enough for you;
Miss Universe 2019 edition, during Gazini Ganados didn't called out to be in the Top 10, viewers went down drastically. (proven by missuupdates) and most filipinos lost their mood to watch, while SOME still supports other contestants. If this doesn't support, then go check out all the filipinos reaction on MU2019 (There is a difference on the period of time which is shorter compared to the previous years of reaction. why? bcos Gazini only made it to the top 20)

So bfore you talk like an angel to others, look yourself in the mirror first honey.

Im not tryin to offend any party here, my point of this whole argument is: Its okay to be happy on your country's achievements or to brag. But its definitely not okay when u/others say that Miss Philippines or any other contestants should be in the final cut, when u don't even know how the person truly is in real life. Like you said, "Bragging because of their hard work and effort", and so I'm gonna say to you; miss Philippines is not the only one putting effort and hard work to make it to the cut.

You said people like me shouldn't exist?! When people like you are the reason racism still exist. If you are right, then you should be making people understand and to love one another. Not trying to put people down and demotivate them! Periodt!

This is the best pageant channel for me. In-depth and informative. Keep it up, TPN!!!💗

“The best” has a nice ring to it haha. Thanks again Ador! 🥰

In my opinion, Miss Japan 2006 was better than Miss Puerto Rico 2006. Only the evening gown of Miss Puerto rico was spectacular, which made her win.

Miss India 1995 gave a better answer than Miss USA 1995. Both of them were equally deserving. So no regrets thr.

THE PAGEANT NERD

There’s no denying Zuleyka was destined for stardom, but I have admit I was pretty bummed Kurara didn’t win. She had such an amazing energy, but I agree - the evening gown choices must’ve played a part. Zuleyka’s was just WOW, while Kurara’s was a little understated.

May Chelsi rest in peace but I agree Manpreet performed beautifully on the night ☺️

The South African three-peat will always be life's biggest "what if?". I would've loved to see that history-making B2B. 🇿🇦

joesakic91

Had Catriona Gray won Miss World 2016, South Africa arguably could've had a three-peat in Miss Universe or Puerto Rico's Stephanie del Valle could've tried her luck in Miss Universe.

Ice Cream

Manpreet is one of those contestants that’s leaves me feeling like “damn if it was any other year” I really loved her and she was amazing but it was Chelsea’s night

Mrunmay Munj

I think India's back to back would have been so much worth. The two candidates were phenomenal in the pageant world, worthy of the first back to back ever. Venezuela's back to back were fine, but Sushmita- Manpreet deserved the Universe. Universe lost a gem of a MU in 1995.

Adarsh Subba

India would have been the first country to achieve back to back in mu in 1995. Damn mu didn't want back to back for India. I mean did you see how miss India 1995 answered thats called empowering women and uplifting them. So we'll spoken.

The male host that year seemed ill-mannered
