And I would say "no you didn't. Where's my check (or direct deposit)?"

And I would say "what pennies?"
I would of course, clean off the oily pennies with mineral spirits (very easy... you could clean a hundred thousand pennies in under an hour of actual work easy, maybe 2 hours if you consider driving to Home Depot or Lowe's for the mineral spirits) and keep them in an undisclosed location. ;)
And still demand my check. ;)
He has no proof of delivery (even video of him dumping them on the driveway is not proof unless he has me on video accepting the pennies), so he'd either have to cut me a check or dump off another $1000 worth of pennies and have me accept on video.

That guy was a great worker, his boss didn't want to lose him! But his boss know that he himself was being vindictive by dropping $1,000 in pennies almost in that guy's driveway!! if that wasn't a "d i c k move", the owner of the company would have NEVER did that to try to get back at his former employee!

Another employee who also quit prior to this has stated that this employer tore up his last check in his face and the same with others. Then said business owner " Doesn't recall " dumping pennies anywhere. So ya this business owner is a jackass.
