Strange Motions
Andy Mineo Feat. Willow Stephens Lyrics
We weren't supposed to dance this long
But our connection was just too strong
We started out in a room full of people
But now we dance the night alone
I'm not havin' fun anymore
But I can't seem to find the door
I'm not havin' fun anymore
But I can't seem to find the door
When these strange motions
They tell me don't get lost in heaven
Strange motions turn me into the spin
Dance me to the end, and that's about to begin
Forgetting where we started so let's just pretend
Strange motions
But our connection was just too strong
We started out in a room full of people
But now we dance the night alone
I'm not havin' fun anymore
But I can't seem to find the door
I'm not havin' fun anymore
But I can't seem to find the door
When these strange motions
Strange motions turn me into the spin
Dance me to the end, and that's about to begin
Forgetting where we started so let's just pretend
Strange motions

My God. am I the only one who didn't want this song to end? Andy you must come back to South Africa
Isaac Castillo
This song refers to someone with drug addiction, Andy personifies that addicted person, while Willow personifies the addition or pleasure itself.
Something that catches my attention to the song is the way it catches you, it feels so good to hear it, but the song only lasts 2 minutes, which makes you want to repeat it again and again. And it is the same thing that happens when you are high, that feeling of pleasure lasts very little, and makes you want to take drugs again and again to feel more pleasure.
Well, that's the interpretation I have of this song and I apologize for my English, it's not very good.
