It's Rising!
Angelus Apatrida Lyrics

It has escaped, it has heard The Call
It knows no one is free from its eternal greed
Look at those terrible jaws, it's rising!
It's rising!
Nobody knows from where it comes
Hey! See the sky it's covered in black!
So the prophecy is done as it was told
Beware of its claws, it's rising!
It's rising!
They say that once
It was the master of this world
It comes to claim its throne as the chosen one
Silence of the damned
They know their time has come
Feast of the butcher hunting, men like lambs
Nobody knows from where it comes
Neither when nor how
It has escaped, it has heard The Call
So the prophecy is done as it was told
Beware of its claws, it's rising!
Solo: David G. Álvarez
The stars have been aligned
The seal has been broken
Now it's out, now it's free
It has awakened from its slumber
Nobody knows from where it comes
Neither when nor how
It has escaped, it has heard the call
So the prophecy is done as it was told
Beware of its claws, it's rising!
It's rising!
The lyrics of Angelus Apatrida's It's Rising! describe the emergence of an apocalyptic creature that has been dormant for a long time but has now awakened and is on a rampage. The first verse talks about how the monster has come out of hiding and is hungry for destruction. The second verse emphasizes the unknown origin of this creature and how it has come to claim its throne as the chosen one. The prophecy that predicted the rise of this monster seems to have been fulfilled and people are warned to beware of its claws. The song goes on to suggest that this monster was once the master of the world and is now on a path of destruction, feeding on people like lambs.
Overall, the song seems to be a warning against humanity's own destructive tendencies, with the apocalyptic creature acting as a metaphor for the consequences of our actions. The imagery of the monster rising from its slumber is a powerful depiction of the potential for destruction that lies dormant within us all, and the importance of being mindful of the impact of our behavior on the world around us.
