Champagne
Ann-Margret Oliver Reed Lyrics

Today it rained champagne
A son was born again a genius unchained

A life of wealth and fame, wealth and fame!
Champagne flowing down just like rain
Caviar breakfasts every day
Merchant banks and yachts at Cannes
Servants and cars and private sand!

See me, feel me, touch me, heal me
See me, feel me, touch me, heal me, heal me

They flock in thousands strong
We'll just play along a million in reserve
For love, a just deserve, just deserve!
Francs and dollars and peacock's wings
Sequined gowns and birds that sing
Private planes and fishing lakes
Bigger crowds and bigger, bigger
Bigger takes! But what's it all worth?
What's it all worth when my son is blind?
He can't hear the music
Nor enjoy what I'm buying
His life is worthless affecting mine
I'd pay any price
To drive his plight from my mind!

See me, feel me, touch me, heal me
See me, feel me, touch me, heal me

When I was 14 and my little sister was 10, my parents dropped us at the movie theater (they used to do this frequently when they wanted to get rid of us for a couple hours). They dropped us in this movie one night. We were scarred forever. We still talk about it. i am 60 years old now.

Right my Mom took us to see this and we also had the sound track album. She embarrassed us in the theater when they show the weird uncle Ernie part she laughed so loud and hard and we slipped down 2 rows to avoid being seen with her lol

@umchinagirard1800

I’m nearly 50, this movie we watched as children it terrifying for a kid. But now it’s the best movie as it shows the truth...such cruel parenting needs to be seen

@dragicavujanovic

Iwas 13 when I saw Tommy for the first time. My favourite film still

@silversnail1413

It's a great film but it probably should have been rated R instead of PG. A lot of parents probably brought their kids to it thinking it was a kid's movie, but it really isn't with the heavy themes and insane imagery.

@monicanichols2957

Lol!

@jipfluffy2143

That little boy’s face is so sweet what a good little actor he was

@muir2809
