The ones with the low pro edge trem is even better. It rips! Sustain has nothing to do with the wood. It's probably 95 % pickups, and the rest, or most of the rest the nut and bridge. Maybe 1 % has something to do with the wood. No such thing as tone wood. Good video.

Thanks for watching man! Big love to a fellow S player! 🤘🏻🔥🎸👊🏻

@@anthonygeorgeguitar absolutely. Thanks for sharing kind sir and regards from Indiana ( midwest) USA.

Sustain is about max tension and consistency as far as the actual guitar. That is why Les Pauls have huge sustain, it’s the arc of the strings which results in aggressive break angles on the nut and bring. This means strings are tight hence string vibrates longer. If guitarist were not so superstitious and actually read some physics they would not be deceived so easily. The rest is pickups.

In my RG60ALMS you can feel the notes resonate through the entire body and neck, and the fishmen fluent pickups do pick up that resonation. So the kind of wood does help with resonation 100%. I build acoustics, have never tried an electric though. Maybe I should try this summer

@@musicman0423 do you know how pickups work.? Look it up then think about what you said

I have an S Prestige, too. I've had it for about 5 years and it's one of the most amazing sounding, playing and looking instruments I've ever played.

@anthonygeorgeguitar

Well clearly I totally agree! Ha! Thanks for watching dude! 🤘🏻🔥🎸

My S420 is my favourite. It's simply gorgeous and I can play on it forever.

Anthony, I really admire the enthusiasm with which you talk about this instrument. Fantastic!
