Anthriel's music can be described as sort of a neo classical band with metal and progressive influences. Still it's Anthriel so it's hard to categorize the music to represent only one genre. Anthriel's music is Timo Niemisto's hand writing from many parts.

@DTkeysplayer16 You are correct, the track is actually called Haven Of Grace. It's a great album, this group was a really nice surprise...but then, Finland produces so many good metal bands, I guess I shouldn't be surprised ;)

@divyx Yeah, and really best buy should be paying them to put this on the shelves. But in my experience best buy has an extremely limited selection, last time I was there I was going to get an Yngwie Malmsteen album and they didn't have any Yngwie Malmsteen, which, well he is pretty well known.

Symphony-x definitely was a huge influence for us specially at that time. We loved everything that's neo classical and progressive. So you all were right, we weren't trying to rip off any melodies or so but i liked to use piano quite a bit on this album and certainly you can hear the influence in many ways, and it's there yeah. :) Also it's been a long time folks, but new album's coming out in couple months. Check it out when it hits the torr.. i mean CD shops.

It might be their influence somewhere, there is so much riffs in the the world that at one moment they sound similar, they are still soo awsome after all!

To me the only similarities between Heaven of Grace and Accolade II is that they both have piano, but i don't see anything else. The melodies are completely different. You wanna see real Symphony X steal? Check out Stratovarius - Elysium after 5:20 minute and tell me what Symphony X song they ripped of... i'll give you a hint, it's from The Divine Wings of Tragedy album. :D Still I love Stratovarius though, Elysium is fantastic song.
