Kompletná história (Slovak version)
Najvýznamnejšia senická gitarová kapela. Nadupané gitary, melodické refrény, inteligentné texty a výrazní členovia sú ich hlavné prednosti.
Rok:
* 2000, august – vtedy 14 roční Marek Grimm a Braňo Fojtlín-Branis (kamaráti zo ZUŠ) sa po dlhých rozhovoroch dohodnú na založení kapely. Marek v tom čase hral na klávesy v kapele Frajeri pod vedením Branislava Grimma. Branis zaujal post gitaristu (Elektrická gitara-Jolana, kombo Regent 50W). Kapela ďalej pozostávala z Lukáša Bečku-spev, Niny Huttovej-spev, Jana Vaculu-klávesy, Peťa Klvača-bicie (Amati) a Joža Bacu-bicie/spev. Kapela odohrala tomto zložení 2 koncerty vo vianočnom programe pre IV.ZŠ. Playlist tvorili stále covere.
* 2001, marec – zloženie kapely Frajeri: Marek Grimm (klávesy), Branislav Fojtlín (gitara), Peter Klvač-Petis (bicie), Jozef Baco (basa/spev). Objavujú sa prvé vlastné songy. Odohratých koncertov približne 10. V súťaži kapiel zo Záhoria POP SENICA obhajujú 3. miesto. Koncert v Rakúskom Gratzi.
* 2002, – kapela skladá naďalej vlastné skladby a koncertuje. 3 mesačná pauza. V lete nahráva v skúšobni za pomoci Miloška Holúbka 6 pesničkové DEMO CD, pozostávajúce z vlastných songov. Tvorba je ovplyvnená prevažne slovenskými interpretmi. V repertoári kapely je približne 20 coverov.
* 2003, september – posledný koncert na Kunovskej priehrade v tejto zostave. Kapela dostáva vzápätí názov APPLAUSE. Nová zostava: Marek Grimm (Klávesy), Branislav Fojtlín (Gitara), Michal Kalman (spev), Ivan Nečas (basa), Peter Klvač (bicie). Kapela napreduje veľkou rýchlosťou. V novembri vyhrá 1. miesto prestížnej súťaže amatérskych kapiel BEAT FÓRUM v Gbeloch. To zaručí kapele veľkú mediálnu publicitu v rámci západného Slovenska (TV Sen, Záhorák, MY Záhorie, Senicko-Skalicko). V decembri kapelu oslovilo niekoľko sponzorov a nahrala v štúdiu Exponent CD s názvom OSTROVANIA. Autorsky sa na tomto CD prevažne podieľal Braňo Fojtlín. Producent tohto CD - Roman Slávik (producent DESmodu).
* 2004, – kapela krstí, koncertuje a prezentuje svoj album. 1. miesto v súťaži kapiel POP SENICA 2004, 2. miesto country súťaže (:-D ) Kremnické laso 2004.Kapela naďalej tvorí vlastné skladby. Skladby skladá už aj Ivo. Na spestrenie a zohranie sa, kapela zaraďuje do svojho repertoáru ďalšie covere. Odohraných približne 20 koncertov v rámci Západného Slovenska. V marci je kapela pozvaná do relácie MAJSTER N. Chalani z recesie pozvanie príjmu. Kapela má svoju oficiálnu web stránku vďaka Albertovi Blümlovi (text k skladbe Chcem). Opäť 1. miesto v súťaži BEAT FÓRUM v Gbeloch. V októbri kapela nahráva 1. časť svojho ďalšieho CD. Producentom je Peter Saniga-Sanchez (producent Horkýže slíže).
* 2005, február – pokračovanie nahrávania albumu CHCEM. Na CD celkom 9 songov. O pesničku Chcem a Lienka prejavilo záujem Rádio G3 a Rádio Nay (+interview). Pesničky boli zaradené do riadneho vysielacieho času rádií. CD registrované v SOZE. Kapela APPLAUSE má tiež oficiálne registrovaný názov. Opäť absolútnym víťazom POP SENICA 2005. V septembri kapela odohrá posledný koncert s Marekom Grimmom. Zbytok kapely sa sťahuje zo skúšobne pri IV.ZŠ do DK Senica. Tam pôsobí 2 mesiace a sťahuje sa do galérie Laca Novomeského- DAVu, kde skúša dodnes.
* 2006, január – kapela nahráva v štúdia Pala Šajánka 4 skladby. Na CD s názvom Farebný svet sa rovnakou mierou podielali autorsky Ivo a Branis. Skladba „Revolúcia“ sa drží v hitparáde Wéčko Rádia G3 rekordných 16 týždňov. Kapela sa dostáva do povedomia poslucháčov aj vďaka letným festivalom, je predskokanom PEHY, DESmodu, I.M.T.smile, Chinaski, Polemic... Kapela spolupracuje niekoľko mesiacov s Robom Miklom a odohrajú spoločný koncert. Kapela koncertuje vo veľkom. Zatial však stále v okolí svojho rodného mesta. Podpísanie zmluvy s agentúrou M.I.C., ktorá sa začína starať o management a booking koncertov. Vznik oficiálnej beta stránky www.applause.sk. Admin Ivo.
* 2007, – registrácia sa do celonárodnej súťaže Slovak Live Award, ktorá katapultuje kapelu do povedomia niektorých Slovenských rádií a hlavne poslucháčov. Z 56 kapiel zo SR, kapela APPLAUSE postúpila do užšieho výberu, kde v Skalici vyhrala regionálne 1. miesto. V letnej súťaži senických kapiel vyhrala taktiež 1. miesto a finančnú odmenu na nákup aparátov. Predkapela Metropolis na ich Tour v TN. Koncerty, koncerty, koncerty... Kapela hrá po boku známejších hviezd (Support Lesbiens, Zuzana Smatanová, Desmod, Kryštof, HEX, Gladiator, Para, TINA...) Nahrávka zo skúšobne pre vlastné účely a LIVE nahrávka z koncertu utvrdí chalanov, že je čas na nahratie ďalšieho materiálu. Nahrávanie PROMO albumu (december) v profesionálnom štúdiu Exponent trvá necelý týžďeň. Producent: skvelý Sanchez.
* 2008, – rokom veľkých zmien. Skladby z APPLAUSE PROMO CD rotujú vo vysielaní Rádia G3. V hitparáde Wéčko sa niekoľko týždňov dari skladbám „Pekný deň“ a „Cicavec“ . Hudba na tomto CD dostáva zhruba tú podobu, po ktorej všetci členovia prahli. Melodické gitary, chytlavá rytmika, texty plné pocitov a zážitkov a príjemný konečný dojem. Kapela si užíva turné vo viacerých Slovenských a Českých mestách. Počet koncertov sa zdvojnásobil. Rozhovor pre rádio G3. Letné festivaly spolu pre niekoľko tisíc návštevníkov. Kapelu avšak v októbri opúšťa Peťo Klvač, ktorý sa rozhodol ísť svojou vlastnou cestou. Kapela nachádza náhradu v novej posile, ktorou je obrovsky talentovaný bubenícky virtuóz Roman Hercegh – Bugy. Profil na bandzone videlo doposiaľ 40 000 ľudí. Propagačné odznačky-buttony. Skúšanie s novým drummerom, koncerty, koncerty, koncerty...
* 2009, – materiálu na natáčanie ďalšej platne neustále pribúda. Zatiaľ všetko nasvedčuje tomu, že kapelu čaká zaujímavá budúcnosť.
