Society or other people may not accept or approve of us.

And if we're sinners then it feels like heaven to me
Even if we're seen as immoral or bad, being with you feels like paradise to me.

Being with you has made me experience emotions I've never had before.

We're doing something that's considered bad or dangerous beyond just being immoral.

But how can you expect me not to eat,
How can you expect me to resist something tempting or forbidden?

Our hearts are too strong and determined to be defeated or changed by anyone or anything.
