Based in Laval, a tiny riverside village in northwestern France, the band spent its early years touring the country before returning home to record an album in 2008. Released one year later, the self-titled debut began attracting an international audience thanks to its lead single, "Vilaine Canaiile," whose music video revolved around clever re-creations of classic album covers. Archimède returned to the studio for a second album, Trafalgar, which was released by Sony in 2011.

Overall Meaning

In "Dussé-Je," Archimède expresses his willingness to do anything for the woman he loves. He vows to do daring and impossible things like bobsledding down the Himalayas or drinking the Caspian Sea with a straw, all for the sake of his beloved. He even goes as far as declaring that he would don an dunce cap if it meant making her happy. The woman, for him, is exceptional and special, and he feels that anything he does for her is worth it, even if he is ignored by others. The singer's admiration for his beloved is evident in the way he describes her presence. Referring to her eyes as diamonds is a testament to the depth of his feelings for her. The chorus repeats that he would go as far as going down the Himalayas on a bobsled no matter what, as long as it's for her.
